🐥 A LITTLE ABOUT OUR SILKIE PROGRAM 🐥

If you know us, you know we LOVE our Silkies! ❤️ And apparently, we can’t seem to stick to just a few colors. 😂

🐔 OUR SILKIE PENS

🤍 White — 2 pens
🖤 Black
💜 Self Blue / Lavender
💙🤍 Blue / Splash
🩵 Blue Cream
💛 Buff / Lemon Cuckoo
🖤💙🤍 Mottled — Black & Blue — Frizzles, Satins & Showgirls possible
🤎💜🤍Mottled — Chocolate & Mauve — Satins & Showgirls possible

❤️ OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY

Our breeding and show programs are our first priorities. We’re very selective about the birds we keep and breed because our goal is to continually improve and grow both programs.

Our breeding pens are color-separated, and we’ve worked hard to source our breeder birds from reputable breeders who also maintain pure pens.

We work with ASBA standard colors, breeding toward the SOP (Standard of Perfection). Our non-standard colors are projects we’re developing and working toward the SOP as well.

Even with careful planning, genetics can occasionally surprise you! 😂 Unexpected traits happen, and that’s simply part of genetics and animal husbandry.

Not every bird we raise will fit our breeding or show goals, and those birds are offered to other homes. We’d rather place a bird where it can be loved and enjoyed than keep breeding birds simply because we have them.

Brent and I both work full-time jobs, and then we come home to our other full-time job — taking care of all these birds! 😂❤️

We aren’t interested in raising birds just to have more birds to sell. We want to put our time, resources, and energy into healthy birds, quality breeding programs, and birds we’re proud to put our name on.

We genuinely love what we do, and we love sharing these crazy, fluffy little birds with people who love them as much as we do. 🐥❤️
