Hello my dog families!

In the next year, I am looking into a job with the school system. Now that Ayla is out of school and will be off working on building her own career, I have decided it’s time to find a more steady job myself.

I do not expect to find a job soon, as the school year is just beginning, but I am hoping to land a job by next school year.

This is a hard decision because I love my fur babies VERY much. But I am letting you all know now so you can start planning for someone to take over. I could potentially help out in the summer (if I get on with the school district) but will be aiming to keep my weekends free as I’ve been working pretty much 7 days a week for the last 7 years. (I have trouble taking time off for myself)

I completely understand if you’d like to transition over to your new dog sitter sooner than later, as I don’t know how soon I may find something. I would also be HAPPY to help show anyone the ropes on what needs to be done and being there as your babies get to know their new sitter & vice versa. I will also be there outside of work hours in case of emergency. (Plus I will need to see my babies sometimes😅)

I do know of another lady near me who dog sits. I can share her info. I personally know another lady who works at New Melle Animal Hospital who just started pet sitting outside of her part time job (I think she goes into work at noon). And if anyone wants me to search for more options, I can. I do also have a list of well known area sitters on my business page who work full-time and have worked our area for a long time now.

Let me know what you all need from me in the meantime & let me know how I can help in this transition. We likely have time. I just don’t know how much time.

If anyone, who I’ve worked for a long time, would be willing to be a reference for me, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it as that’s my next step in applying with the district.

We are angry and saddened to hear this young lady is still advertising pet sitting services. If I cannot take your pet due to being booked up, I know many local and trusting sitters to refer. Please do homework & ask friends & family who they use. Finding a sitter by word of mouth is your best bet! This has been a public service announcement from “Aunt Amanda”. Love all my babies. Keep them safe🩵

This is why I love dogs. They love beyond measure. They have heightened senses to their humans and are amazing protectors. I get to see my Daisy next week. The day, the moment, I met this girl I knew she was extra special and would be one of those pups that just holds an extra special place in my heart. The love she exuberates is amazing. I knew we’d be great friends and we were. In November I had an attack at her house which resulted in calling 911, an emergency surgery and my intestines getting cut out. In & out of consciousness I remember her wedging up against me and crying. I remember she wouldn’t let anyone take her away from me. She wouldn’t get out of the way of paramedics. She wouldn’t leave me. But I left her:( She knew I was sick & something was very wrong. She just wanted to protect me. I cannot wait to be with this sweet girl again and show her it’s ok and we will be back to having fun. I’m teary just thinking of this. Love all my pups so much!!! PS I still get sore & still am healing up but I am doing amazing!!! I’m very lucky & happy to be in 2026🩵
