It’s that time of year when I feel obligated to explain the importance of caping your trophy correctly. These pics show exactly where to make the cuts to properly cape your trophy for a shoulder mount. Incorrect cuts are the most common problem we see in deer season. If you are unsure still please call me. It’s gonna be a lot cheaper for me to explain it than for me to fix it. Which I’m not gonna do anymore. If you want me to do the taxidermy on your trophy, make sure it is caped correctly. Good luck to everyone hitting the field this fall. I think there are a lot of bigguns to be had this year with all the moisture we’ve had all spring. Thank you!
