“TTA’s Gentleman John”-his barn name will be Dillinger.

This fine young gentleman joined us today sometime between 1:30 and 3:30.
Weighing in at 15.2lbs. He appears to be light rose gray-little to no SPOTS-just grey. So cute!!
Mom was 335 days and a maiden!! We didn’t think it’d be for a while yet!

Mom is “TTA’s Mystique’s Allure”
Dad is “Irish Meadows Slate” of Indigo Alpaca Ranch

Still think of a name for him.
Leaning towards outlaw/bandit type names. Open to suggestions!!!

It’s been a busy 2 weeks at Triple T Alpaca. Between Graduation and our first Farm event of the season we welcome 3 Cria!!!

1st we had a beautiful black female.
Dam: TTA’s Professor McGonagall (Minni)
Sir: TTA’s Midnights Phantom

Her name will be “TTA’s Madame Pomfrey” aka Poppi. A nod to my Harry Potter obsession 😁

2nd we had a gorgeous dark fawn female
Dam: 3DR Castellano Mystique
Sir: Mikey-Angelo

Her name will be “TTA’s Oh, Goodie” Aka- Goodie
Her older sister is “TTA’s How many Licks” so we decided to also name her after a retro candy-a Minnesota classic-Nut Goodie

3rd we welcomed the most handsome little guy!! He is a medium brown with darker tips and legs.

We haven’t given him a name yet but he is UNREAL!! We could do a retro candy slogan(like his siblings) or something completely different.

We had a very sad day today at Triple T Alpaca.
TTA’s Voodoo Princess had a stillborn Cria at around 295 days. This was highly anticipated baby from “Force of Nature” out of Triple Diamond.
Cria appears to have been deceased for several days prior to being birthday. I checked for a twin and I can’t hear a heart beat or feel anything upon internal exam.
Mom is doing well-and I can tell she hadn’t been feeling well as she will NOT stop eating now. Yesterday she was very slow to eat. We kept her with the herd and allowed her to be with the baby all afternoon. A towel is still in its place with the scent.

In our 9yrs as breeders we’ve been VERY fortunate and this is the first time we’ve lost a baby.
