Good Evening Pack!! The announcement you all have been waiting for !!

Purrs and Playin Paws Pet Care, LLC REOPENS on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026!!

*Cats + Small Animals ONLY until September 22nd, 2026. Dog care offered onwards.

BIG CHANGE:

The company will be CLOSED Monday-Friday, and only open on Saturdays for AM, MID, DIN + PM visits. I am working full time for the government during the week. The company will service 20 miles around my residence in FALLSTON, MD (not Forest Hill anymore).

The following Saturdays the company is closed:
Saturday, October 10th, 2026
Saturday, November 28th, 2026
Saturday, December 26th, 2026.

The company will be operating out of Fallston, MD until February 1st, 2027 and then I am moving to Pennsylvania. I will update the service area for PA once I solidify a new home next year.

Later today I will be posting updated announcements regarding the future of Purrs and Playin’ Paws Pet Care, LLC. The company is still closed through at least September 9th, 2026. I have three more weeks of PT to finish out and (I think) a final ortho appointment September 21st, 2026.

Good Morning Pack,

I wanted to give a heads up that the service area will be changing for M-F and that during the week, I will only be offering dinner visits in the new service area. Dinner visits will start at 4:30pm.

On Saturdays only, I will be serving the current service area and will be open for AM, MIDDAY, DINNER + PM visits.

Overnight care has ceased.

Both of these service areas will be temporary, probably lasting for 6-9 months (give or take) and then a new permanent service area will be established once I am settled into a new home.

Again I’ll post details around Labor Day or maybe a little earlier.

The company is currently closed and will remain closed until at least September 9th, 2026. My next orthopedic appointment is August 26th, 2026. All plans are dependent on that appointment going well.

Hi all,

Have been having a rough week health wise . Having some issues with my left foot since graduating from cast to walking boot. They basically forgot to tell me last kMonday I had to continue to elevate my foot every 2 hours for at least 2 hours and continue to take the aspirin since not 100% weight bearing. I was so excited I could drive and walk with crutches I probably over did it first half of week and didn’t have that information so I had serious blood pooling, discoloration and swelling, last night had numbness, tingling and soreness from foot to above ankle which was brand new in my recovery so the last few days I’ve had to basically be in bed again with foot elevated and staying low key with activity level. Hopefully starting PT this coming week which will be 2x a week for 4-5 weeks. The surgeon does not want me to return to work until after I am evaluated August 26th appointment . I am holding off on any announcements until around that time.

Cat sitting is reopening as of tomorrow July 28th, 2026 for households that have one step or less I need to traverse while on property.

I am still unable to climb more than one stair until August 27th, 2026.
