What started out as a fun, silly decoration that Kehau insisted we needed, has turned into a staple for The Farm Store and the many familes that come to see us daily. One family in particular really loved this chicken, so much so, that if family came to visit, they would bring them to the store to see our staff and the huge chicken, like it was a local attraction. That same family was recently named as victims in the recent tragedy that has struck our community and our staff has been deeply affected by it. We would see them at least once a week and became part of our routine that we will miss dearly. If you had the pleasure of knowing the Kimsey family like we did, you know they were some of the kindest and most generous people you could meet, which makes this loss hurt so much more.
I know this is a little longer than most of our posts but if y’all read this to the end, please know that every single one of you is more than just a customer to us, you are truly seen as friends and family to us💜 There are truly no words to express our love and gratitude for you guys.
RIP to the Kimsey family, you will be missed beyond words💜
