Have your neighbors already started setting off their fireworks? Don't forget to request AND pick up those sedatives for your pets if the big bangs are too much for them!
We'll be closed on FRIDAY the 3rd, so the last opportunity to pick up medication is THURSDAY the 2nd!
Pets must have been seen by a doctor in the last 12 months and have a current weight for medication to be sent home!

We're so sorry to any of our clients who have fallen for these posts, we're trying hard to keep ahead of them and remove them as they come up, but we don't catch them all.
Unfortunately, if you did purchase something, it's not connected to us in any way, and we're not able to help with any potential fall out. If you did "buy" from one of these scam posts, please dispute the charge!
We know the concept of those shirts are cute, and it's so sweet that you'd want to support us like that, but it's just not real. Our wonderful clients support us everyday by bringing your pets in and following our care advice! We love you all for it and we're NEVER going to be pushing for this kind of support (especially not from unknown posters, in comments on old posts)

As much fun as branded swag looks, this is NOT something we're doing. (even if we were, we certainly wouldn't be promoting it in the comments of older posts... 🙄)

Whew! We made it through St. Patrick's Day!
Everyone please give Legacy a little love for being on Leprechaun duty at the clinic- We're pleased to announce there were no shenanigans on her watch!

We could use wishes for good health too- everyone seems to be catching whatever cold is going around and we're working very short staffed more days than not right now- we're so lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of clients and we're beyond grateful for all your patience as we juggle everything.

What's the buzz at Kindness?
If you received our recent e-newsletter, you may know we're doing another staff coloring contest (we love a little silly fun around here!)
From now through 3/30 voting is open! Like or comment with your pick for the best buzz-bee and our winner will announced at our next staff meeting on 3/31.
Make sure to share- you don't have to be a client to vote ;)

We're also having a lot of "buzz" around Bravecto Quantum! A single injection to protect dogs against fleas and ticks for a full 12 months! Before we bring it to clinic, we need to know there's enough interest to make it happen (we hate to be wasteful afterall). Not only is this a fail safe for those of us who aren't the best with remembering doses, it's an amazing option for those pups who will do anything to avoid their oral dose. And as a bonus- there's a cost savings compared to a full year of the oral doses!
Make sure to call or email the clinic if this is something you want for your pup- we'll add you to the list. Once we have enough confirmed YES, we'll place our order and start scheduling (we do need you to be a client for this one however! We'd love to see all pets protected, but a current exam is needed before we can set them up with preventatives)

Hopefully everyone made it through the festivities without issue, but if your pet does need care today, please visit your emergency clinic of choice!
We're back in office tomorrow with our normal hours, so if you have a less urgent concern, please leave a message (remember, just one please) or send an email and we'll reach out as soon as we're able. We do ask for patience, as there's always a lot of calls to catch up on after a holiday closure.

Happy New Years Eve! The clock is ticking ever closer to wrapping the year up here at home, even if it's a done deal in Australia ;)
If your pets get antsy about fireworks or parties, remember to give those sedatives at least 2 hours before the early birds start up!
That might well mean NOW!
We're CLOSED today and tomorrow, but we'll be back on Friday, January 2nd to catch up on our emails and voicemails. If you have an urgent concern, please call or head in to your emergency clinic of choice.

We have a new update from Australia, and it feels like time travel, with the time difference, we're nearly a whole day behind them!

Happy New Year's eve, everyone! As we wrap our time here in Australia, it's fun to go back and look at not just this trip, but also the whole year. A lot has come and gone for everyone- good memories and sad. But we are still thankful for the many blessings we do have!
Australia has been a much different experience than Japan and understandably so. The wildlife has been amazing... I can't wait to watch our go pro footage when we get home and have time to upload it. We got to spend Christmas on the Great Barrier Reef, and we swam with sharks and lots of poisonous stuff. Only two jellyfish stings between us as a family!
We've been to Melbourne and traveled the great ocean road. The scenery is breath taking! Currently, we're in Sydney and going to brave the MILLIONS of people here to ring in the New Year. It'll test my nerves being in those crowds, but it's a once in a lifetime experience. We have to do it!
We've met so many wonderful people in this trip and seen so much. We are truly blessed! We'll see you after the New Year!
