What a first day! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, shopped, donated, and supported Southpaw Rescue and Wild Presencia at the 23-Mile Yard Sale today. We had such a great turnout, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make Day One a success.

We’ll be back tomorrow from 8 AM – 4 PM!

Some of our adoptable Southpaw dogs will be joining us too! Come shop, stop by to meet Nero and Sargent, and help us close out a great weekend.

Southpaw Rescue + Wild Presencia Bilingual Forest School are teaming up for two days of gently used treasures, great finds, and great prices — all while supporting two local nonprofits doing good things in our mountain community. 💚

Gigi is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. This little 30lb Australian Cattle Dog was dumped along hwy 38. Today she is getting spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. One step closer to finding her happy ending.

It’s been a month since Salem was trapped and treated after being brutally attacked by a coyote—and look at him now! ❤️

He is fully healed, looking great, and you can barely tell what he survived.

A huge thank you to the special fosters who cared for Salem, nursed him back to health, and gave him a safe place to recover. 🐾

Last weekend, Salem took his next big step. We transferred him to a rescue that specializes in cats, and he is now ready to find his forever home. 🏡❤️

Because of the sensitive nature of some aspects of Salem’s rescue, we’re keeping this update intentionally vague—but it is all great news!

If you’d like to donate toward Salem’s continued care, please reach out to us privately and I’ll put you in touch with the rescue now caring for him.

We are excited to be a part of this event. Living in the mountains means always being prepared. Come out and get the resources you need. Southpaw will be there with information on evacuating with animals. We will also have some of our adoptable animals there.

This little pug/frenchie mix was rescued from backyard breeders. She suffered horrific conditions, leaving her with kidney issues. Then she found out people care enough to donate to her so she can eat the best diet possible to keep her healthy. Thank you and for your lifesaving work to help rescue dogs overcome abuse.
