The humans are ready for burgers, BBQs & a long weekendβ¦ and the pets are ready to supervise EVERYTHING. ππ
This Labor Day, weβre celebrating YOU β the hardworking people who keep America moving! β€οΈπ€π
To the farmers, teachers, nurses, doctors, veterinarians, first responders, construction workers, truck drivers, small business owners, factory workers, service workers, caregivers, office workers, and everyone who gets up every day and puts in the work β thank you!
Whether youβre working with your hands, caring for others, building something from the ground up, running a business, or simply doing your best to provide for the people and pets you love, your hard work matters. πΊπΈβ€οΈ
And of course, we canβt forget our four-legged coworkers! πΆπ± Some of them may not contribute much to the household chores, but they sure are excellent supervisors. ππΎ
π Need medications, prescription food, or supplies?
Please call us before Friday so your pet doesnβt run out. Check the medication cabinet!
Running out of meds over a holiday weekend is NOT the kind of excitement anyone needs. π
π¨ Pet emergency while weβre closed?
Please contact the emergency line for the veterinarian on call.
πΆπ± KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE THIS WEEKEND!
π₯ Keep them cool!
Fresh water and shade
π The BBQ is NOT a buffet!
Keep fatty foods, bones, corn cobs, onions, garlic, grapes, raisins & chocolate away from curious noses.
ποΈ Secure the trash!
Because apparently, garbage is a five-star meal when youβre a dog. π
π Fireworks can be scary!
Keep pets indoors, secure doors and gates, and give them a quiet, comfortable place to relax.
ποΈ Traveling?
Pack food, medications, water, flea/tick prevention, and make sure ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
πΎ A little planning now can save you a LOT of stress later!
πΊπΈ This Labor Day, take a moment to appreciate the people who work hard every day to make our communities, families, businesses, farms, and country stronger.
To all the hard workers across America β thank you for all that you do. β€οΈπ€π
Now put your feet up, fire up the grill, spend time with the people you love, and let your pets take over the supervision duties. Theyβve been training for this all year. ππΎ
Have a safe, happy & well-deserved Labor Day weekend from all of us at the clinic! πΊπΈπΆπ±
