Our clinic will be CLOSED Saturday after 12 PM through Monday and will reopen Tuesday morning at our normal time.

This Labor Day, we’re celebrating YOU — the hardworking people who keep America moving! ❤️🤍💙
To the farmers, teachers, nurses, doctors, veterinarians, first responders, construction workers, truck drivers, small business owners, factory workers, service workers, caregivers, office workers, and everyone who gets up every day and puts in the work — thank you!

And of course, we can’t forget our four-legged coworkers! 🐶🐱 Some of them may not contribute much to the household chores, but they sure are excellent supervisors. 😂🐾

Please call us before Friday so your pet doesn’t run out. Check the medication cabinet!
Running out of meds over a holiday weekend is NOT the kind of excitement anyone needs. 😅
🚨 Pet emergency while we’re closed?
Please contact the emergency line for the veterinarian on call.

🔥 Keep them cool!
Fresh water and shade
🌭 The BBQ is NOT a buffet!
Keep fatty foods, bones, corn cobs, onions, garlic, grapes, raisins & chocolate away from curious noses.
🗑️ Secure the trash!
Because apparently, garbage is a five-star meal when you’re a dog. 😂
🎆 Fireworks can be scary!
Keep pets indoors, secure doors and gates, and give them a quiet, comfortable place to relax.
🏕️ Traveling?
Pack food, medications, water, flea/tick prevention, and make sure ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
🐾 A little planning now can save you a LOT of stress later!

He is with a family in the pilot k**b area (who is not his owner), waiting for his owner to come pick him up.

As we get our week started, I would like to remind everyone that the Forest City Veterinary Clinic will be closed Saturday, August 29th. If your pets are showing any signs of illness please call as soon as you notice!
We will be available in the event that a client has an Emergency. Please call 641-585-2211 for the Veterinarian on call. We will return to regular hours on Monday from 8am-5pm.

This hungry little man got lots while on the prowl. He found a friendly neighbor near the Methodist church to give him a snap but he really misses his family. If you know who this little man belongs to please reach out!! He is intact!
