Max update:
Your prayers are working ππ» He is healing incredibly well. Much better then I honestly expected in only a few days time, but only because of the valiant effort put forth by our vet & her staff!!
I will post a picture collage in the comments so you can see what an incredible job they've done so far helping Max heal - if you would like to see it
(WARNING the 1st few pictures are gruesome and hard to look at - so don't look if you have a weak stomach!)
Let me be very clear about something - there is no place here for negativity - we will NOT tolerate it!
Max has been under care of our vet since the get go, so we did not "let" this happen to him. Some times freak things happen and no we don't know exactly what caused this, but we had to help him! I do know that Max likely wouldn't still be with us if it wasn't for every single thing that Dr. Kim and her staff have done to help him. It's been a tremendous effort for everyone involved & we could not be more grateful to Dr. Kim, her entire staff & especially vet tech Jenny who has taken Max home with her so he is being monitored 24-7 should any needs arrise for him!
The proof of the miracle these incredible women are working for Max is in the pictures - God bless them!! π₯Ή
So no, we will not be taking Max to a different vet. He will remain right where he is, getting the absolute best care that he deserves π₯°
A huge, heartfelt thank you to each and every single one of you who have donated to help Max & for every prayer for him! They are working! ππ»
We are so incredibly greatful!!
Go spread kindness π
