About Me
My love for horses began in childhood and has grown into more than 25 years of hands-on experience working with horses. Over the years, that passion developed into a desire not only to work with horses, but to help them feel, move, and perform their best.
I have been a certified Shiatsu Equine Massage Practitioner for five years, completing my training through Geary Whiting’s Equine Massage School. I began with the at-home portion of the program before traveling to Paso Robles, California, where I completed the five-day, hands-on portion of my certification.
My experience with horses extends well beyond massage. I began showing horses in 1997 and have continued showing on and off throughout the years, giving me experience with horses both in and outside the show ring.
My clinic horse, Sunset Eve, affectionately known as “Evie,” is a 21-year-old Arabian mare whom I have owned for five years. Evie is an important part of my clinics and allows me to demonstrate Shiatsu techniques, meridian lines, and hands-on bodywork in a practical setting.
For me, equine massage is about more than technique. It's about learning to listen to the horse, recognizing what their body is telling us, and giving owners the knowledge to better understand and support their equine partners.
Helping horses has been a passion of mine since I was a child, and through Char Grey’s Equine Massage, I’m able to turn that lifelong passion into something I can share with both horses and the people who love them.
