Liberty, doing what I love so much!
Freedom and I are working ba****ck with just a halter and one rope, taking our first steps toward side passing without a bridle.
There’s something so freeing,and FUN about building a partnership where you learn to understand each other and work together. It doesn’t happen overnight. Keep practicing, keep believing, and keep working toward your goals.

Our newest mini rescue has already stolen so many hearts at Equine Reflections Therapeutic Center, and she's smiling after her very first liberty lesson. We can't wait to watch this little star shine! ❤️🤍💙

Mr. Fine had his very first experience circling on a long line today,& he did really well!
Four amazing ladies are hard at work preparing for our very first Liberty Clinic with Elliot Holzman from Versatile Horsemanship. We may not have as much prep time as we'd like, but we are beyond excited and ready to learn!
A little warning for Elliot, though... since we're a mental wellness facility, he may need a little therapy himself by the end of this clinic! 🤣🤣🤣
The countdown is on, and we can't wait! 💙

Give NOLA Day is TODAY 💙 This is a rescued liberty horse changing lives!
Dreamer is more than a rescued horse… he’s a healer.

Give NOLA Day!
Meet Mystic, one of our rescues, learning liberty (Dan James style) & loving being connected to people.
Mystic is a rare American Cream Draft the only draft breed that originated in America. With his pink nose, pink around his eyes, and sensitive skin, Mystic is prone to skin cancer and needs special UV-protective gear to stay safe and healthy.
But to us… Mystic is so much more. He’s our magical unicorn.
One mom shared that before her son began cancer treatment, he met Mystic… colored his wishes on Mystic's body, dipped his hands in magical glitter paint, closed his eyes, and made a wish. She later called in happy tears, sharing that her son held Mystic's picture during his very first treatment, and how much comfort and strength that brought them both.
This is who Mystic is. This is what he does.
