Some dogs are trained for the job.
Some dogs are born for it.
Abe was trained for many tasks, but his true calling was PTSD support.
From picking up items and opening doors to sensing when his veteran needed him most, Abe showed early on that he was meant for this work.
For Navy Veteran Chris Rogers, Abe became more than a service dog; he became a trusted partner in healing.
Chris once questioned whether PTSD service dogs were real. Now, he knows the truth:
They are trained to help.
Their job is to support.
And sometimes, healing begins when you allow yourself to accept the help.
