🕊 LITTLE BLESSINGS LITTER IS 6 WEEKS OLD 🕊

Wow! Time sure flies when you’re having fun!

The Little Blessings are 6 weeks old and doing really well! They continue to make great progress with sound desensitization, with different sounds, music, and everyday noises constantly part of their environment.

Potty training has also come a long way—over 80% of their waste is now staying on the potty trays!

Our only complaint is the weather 🥵 It has been far too hot to safely take the puppies outside, so they’ve been rotating between their whelping area, playroom, and the house for family time.

They are now almost fully weaned and eating kibble. Misha occasionally lets them nurse when there is enough milk collected over a couple of days.

Their first vet appointment is scheduled for next week!

🕊 LITTLE BLESSINGS LITTER IS 5 WEEKS OLD 🕊

We are officially at the fun stage where the puppies are really starting to show their personalities… and the not-so-fun stage of potty training 💩

There is a HUGE difference between these puppies today and just one week ago. They are more confident, more curious, ready to explore, and starting to recognize us humans.

We can see that Faith and Grace are the most confident of the group — at least for now! And honestly, confidence is not a bad thing at all. But it’s important to understand how to properly train and guide this type of dog. They are extremely smart and will thrive with families who enjoy being hands-on, providing lots of activities, outdoor adventures, training, and engagement.

Hope, Valor, and Noble are currently on the quieter, more laid-back side. They may be a great fit for families with older children or families who don’t have the opportunity to work from home. These pups seem perfectly content to hang out nearby and take it easy — and when they’re older and raised right, they may be the type who are happy to spend the day relaxing on the couch with their people.

Of course, they have a LOOOONG way to go! Puppies change so much as they mature, and so much of their adult personality will continue to develop through training, socialization, environment, and the life their family provides for them.

🏡🫂 That’s exactly why we focus so much on temperament when matching our puppies with their families.

🕊 LITTLE BLESSINGS LITTER IS 4 WEEKS OLD 🕊

Having a smaller litter this time around has allowed us to slow things down and really observe each puppy's development. It's been fun comparing their progress to our larger litters. We can definitely tell things are calmer—there are fewer siblings to feed off each other's energy, and the overall environment feels much more relaxed.

We've officially reached our least favorite stage of puppy raising... mush time! 🤪 Sticky puppy mush has a way of ending up everywhere except in their mouths. While they're learning to eat solid food, they somehow manage to wear more of it than they actually eat!

We're also excited that temperatures are starting to cool down a bit (from 115° to a "pleasant" 100° 😅), which means we get a little more time outside each day. The puppies are gaining confidence with every outing, and it's so rewarding to watch them explore the world.

Last week we introduced classical music in their puppy room, and now it's time to start a variety of desensitization sounds as they continue building confidence and resilience.

🕊 LITTLE BLESSINGS LITTER IS 2 WEEKS OLD 🕊

These little ones just keep getting cuter every day! Their eyes are officially open, and while their vision is still developing, they're becoming much more aware of the world around them.

They're also on the move! Watching them wobble around the whelping box is one of the cutest things ever. And those tiny little voices are definitely getting louder.

We've sent Grace's, Hope's, and Faith's DNA samples to the lab. Once those results are back, we'll have a much better idea of which girls may stay with us as future additions to our breeding program.

Since they're still learning to regulate their body temperature, we'll begin taking them outside for short evening visits this coming week as they continue experiencing new sights, sounds, and smells.

🕊️ INTRODUCING OUR LITTLE BLESSINGS LITTER 🕊️

After everything we went through to bring these sweet angels safely into the world, we couldn’t think of a more fitting theme for this litter. These truly are our little blessings.

The litter is 3 days old today, and everyone is doing wonderfully! Mishka is feeling much better and settling beautifully into motherhood. She has also discovered that if she skips meals, she might get extra jerky treats, satin balls, and other human-grade goodies instead… Safe to say she is keeping us on our toes! 🤪

For now, we’re taking things one day at a time, monitoring both the puppies’ development and Mishka’s recovery, and soaking in these sweet newborn moments.

We plan to keep two females from this litter and are currently looking for one additional Guardian Family. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!

🥳 CAJUN LEGENDS LITTER IS 7 WEEKS OLD! 🥳

We celebrated this week's milestone the way we always do—with a trip to our favorite veterinarian, Dr. Bill! ❤️

Every puppy received a full health exam, tested negative on their f***l test, and got their first puppy booster. Everyone passed with flying colors!

A few fun stats:
🧡 Gustave is officially the biggest puppy in the litter.
🩵 Yvette is still our smallest baby girl 🥰

This weekend we'll be taking it easy, keeping a close eye on everyone after their vaccinations (just as a precaution), and spending as much time outdoors as the weather allows.

We only have 7 reservations still available! This will be Willow's final litter and our last medium Bernedoodle litter for the next year, so don't miss your chance to bring home one of these adorable little teddy bears. 💖🐻

🥳 CAJUN LEGENDS LITTER IS 5 WEEKS OLD 🥳

Things are going great with the little ones!

This week we made a few big upgrades for our growing crew. We enlarged their whelping/sleeping area to give them more room to move, explore, and start practicing all those important puppy skills. They also had their bath and nail trim—everyone handled it like champs.

🥩 They almost fully transitioned to kibble now (no more mushy mess—yay!), and they’re doing really well with it. We’ve been “testing” kibble on our big dogs for the last couple of months, and even our pickiest eaters are loving it. Because of how well everyone has done on it, this is what we’ve chosen to use moving forward for both our growing puppies and our adult dogs.

🎼Desensitization is going strong… and loud! Music, household sounds, and all kinds of everyday noises are running day and night to help set them up for confidence in the real world.

✨️ Personality-wise, things are really starting to shine through. Everyone is acting more confident and curious each day, exploring more and showing a nice balance of independence and social interest.

Camille, Marcine, Gustave, Laurent, and Avit are all super human-oriented—you will be their favorite thing in the entire world.

Yvette, Marcel, and Elodie are a bit more on the quieter side. They like to take things in first, observe, and then ease into interaction once they feel comfortable.

Of course, this is just an early snapshot—puppy personalities are still developing and can change weekly (if not daily) as they grow and gain confidence in new experiences.

🥳 CAJUN LEGENDS LITTER IS 4 WEEKS OLD 🥳

Just look at these squishy little bear cubs! 🐻

These pups truly took after their Bernese ancestors—very blocky, very square, and full of personality. Thanks to the carefully planned pairing, they are expected to have straight(er), low-to-non-shedding coats!

If you've always loved Bernese Mountain Dogs but didn't want to deal with the large size and heavy shedding, this may be the perfect opportunity.

Our puppies had a very busy week:

🐾 First time exploring the great outdoors
🐾 First taste of puppy mush
🐾 First baths
🐾 First exposure to desensitization noises
🐾 Introduction to potty trays (and they're doing fantastic with them!)

We're hoping for lots of sunshine next week, which means even more outdoor adventures and socialization opportunities for these little ones!

🥳 CAJUN LEGENDS LITTER IS 3 WEEKS OLD 🥳

We cannot believe these puppies are already 3 weeks old! We absolutely love watching them grow every single day.

They are now officially on the move! The puppies are starting to walk around their whelping box and are doing such a great job holding up their little heads. And can we talk about those adorable faces? 🥹

You can also already see their furnishings starting to come through — the hair on their noses near the corners of their eyes is beginning to grow in.

The plan for this upcoming week:
• litter box introduction
• mush introduction (which means first baths are coming soon 🙈)
• start taking them outside when the weather permits (although we are projected to have rain for the next 2 weeks 🥴)

‼️ QUICK UPDATES ‼️

1️⃣ We would like to correct ourselves regarding the expected size of this litter. Originally, we thought these pups would mature into smaller standards around 50–70 lbs, but looking at their growth so far and comparing them to previous litters, we now believe they will likely end up in a solid medium range of around 40–60 lbs fully grown.
Honestly, we think that is such a perfect family size — not overly huge, yet not teeny tiny either. Big enough for those tight hugs without accidentally hurting someone 😅

This will also be our only Medium-sized Bernedoodle litter this year!

2️⃣ We decided not to keep a male from this litter.

🥳 CAJUN LEGENDS LITTER IS 2 WEEKS OLD 🥳

Introducing our very first litter of Ultra Bernedoodles! We honestly could not be happier with how these pups turned out… except for the fact that they all look nearly identical, and it’s going to take some real skill to tell them apart 😂

👀 So, what is an Ultra Bernedoodle?
An Ultra Bernedoodle is a Bernedoodle with an especially high percentage of Bernese Mountain Dog genetics. In this litter, the Berner percentage is expected to range between 68–80%.

💈What about shedding?
Careful parent selection and genetic testing helped us achieve a litter that should be low-to-non shedding, similar to F1 Bernedoodles. The biggest difference will likely be coat texture — these pups are expected to have straight to slightly wavy coats when fully grown.

We can already tell many of these babies are strongly taking after their Berner side! The majority of them have rear dew claws, and one of the puppies is our very first polydactyl pup — she has a double dew claw on one paw.

Every puppy has already at least doubled in size since birth day! Current weights range from 2.1 lbs to 3 lbs, and we expect this litter to mature around 50–70 lbs full grown.
