From St. Tammany, Washington and Tangipahoa Parishes to Southern Mississippi and beyond, our Folsom team is here to care for pets from communities throughout our region — during regular hours and after hours, too. OUR NEW WEBSITE IS LIVE!

We’ve been working behind the scenes to give FVC a fresh new online home—and it’s finally here!

Our new website is now your go-to place for the most current information about Folsom Veterinary Clinic & Boarding, including our services, client education, upcoming events, community involvement, online pharmacy, boarding & grooming information, FAQs, and more.

But there’s one BIG update we especially want our community to know about:

🚨 AFTER-HOURS URGENT CARE — 7 DAYS A WEEK, UNTIL 10 PM!

We know pets don’t always get sick or injured during regular business hours. That’s why we’re expanding access to urgent veterinary care and making it easier to reach us when you need help after hours.

🌙 After-hours urgent care is available 7 days a week until 10:00 PM.

Call our regular clinic line at 985-796-3313 to be connected with a doctor after hours, or contact our after-hours line directly at 985-273-7977.

Not sure if your pet needs urgent care? Call us. We can help determine the most appropriate next step.

We’re excited about everything happening at FVC, and this new website is one more way we’re working to make information, resources, and veterinary care more accessible to the community we call home.

We’re celebrating National Dog Day with a very important introduction… and we need YOUR help!

Meet the newest “member” of the FVC crew! 🐶 This adorable pup is our new client education aid and will be joining us for community events, demonstrations, educational programs, and plenty of adventures around town.

There’s only one problem… OUR NEW FRIEND DOESN’T HAVE A NAME! 😮

And we haven’t decided if we have a good boy OR a good girl on our hands—so that’s up to y’all too! 😂

We’re officially accepting applications for the BEST name our FVC family can come up with!

Entertainment at FVC comes in ALL forms…

Sweet Maggie thoroughly investigated our coloring books, stickers, and every other form of entertainment we had to offer while her pup was getting some TLC from our team last week. ❤️

Then she decided our resident clinic dog, Amira, needed to get involved.

Unfortunately, Amira believes leashes are optional and clinic tours should be self-guided. 💀😂 Maggie quickly corrected that — leash secured, hugs administered, and Amira properly escorted around the clinic.

Judging by that side-eye… Amira did not appreciate the supervision. 👀😂

10/10 entertainment. 10/10 handler. Amira’s performance review is pending. 😅

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER IS COMING — AND FVC WILL BE THERE! 🐾

We’re excited to join our friends at The Paddock Farmers Market and Giddy Up Folsom, LLC for Dog Days of Summer this Saturday, August 29th from 9 AM–1 PM!

And this one is definitely for the dogs.

Stop by the Folsom Veterinary Clinic booth to say hi, let your pup cool off and refresh, and check out the fun activities and giveaways we’ll have waiting for you.

And don’t skip the Dog Costume Contest — some lucky best-dressed pups will be going home with FVC gift cards! So yes, this is your official permission to be completely unreasonable about your dog’s outfit. 😂

The market will also have free pup cups, dog bandanas while supplies last, local vendors, live music and plenty of four-legged company.

Grab the leash, pick out the costume, and come spend the day with us! We’ll see y’all at The Paddock!

Our littlest clinic helper is officially ONE! ❤️

Dr. Karen and Braxton’s sweet boy, James, has spent his first year supervising clinic operations, keeping everybody smiling, and occasionally reporting for duty when we need a little extra help. 😂🐾 And judging by that fire helmet, he may already have his backup career picked out. 🚒

We hope our favorite little helper has the BEST first birthday ever—full of cake, toys, belly laughs, and all the attention a one-year-old can handle. 🎂🥹

HER ROYAL HIGHNESS HAS ENTERED HER SPA ERA. 👑

Queen Elle had her dental, handled it like the absolute royalty she is, and has now decided that recovery simply must include biweekly laser spa days. 💅😂❤️

The goggles? 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘳.
The red light? 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘤.
The attitude? 𝘜𝘯𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥.
The treatment plan? 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭, 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘺, 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘵..✨

Laser therapy can help support healing, decrease inflammation, and keep our girl feeling her best — but Elle would like everyone to understand that she is not receiving medical treatment. 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚. Please respect her privacy during this difficult time. 😂

Around here, recovery looks a little different when you’re the Queen. 👑🐾❤️
