Ember showed up for her appointment and immediately turned our waiting room into her own personal photo shoot. 📸💅 The pose. The ears. The perfectly coordinated accessories. ✨

👻 Well… apparently the clinic decided to REALLY commit to spooky season. 🎃⚡

The power is currently out at Folsom Veterinary Clinic, which means our phones have officially joined the darkness too. 🕯️😂

We’re still here! If you’re trying to reach us while the power is out, please call or text our emergency cell:

There’s a lot that happens beyond the exam room doors! Having diagnostic tools like ultrasound available in-house gives our doctors another way to take a closer look when they need more information about what’s going on internally.

When our patients can’t tell us what’s going on, tools like this help us put the pieces together. 💙

We love sharing a little of the medicine that happens behind the scenes at FVC!

🎡🐑 It’s St. Tammany Parish Fair Week!

One of our favorite weeks of the year is officially here — which means the clinic parking lot is looking a little more like a barnyard than usual. 😂 When your patient arrives with four hooves, a whole lot of wool, and transportation logistics of their own, you improvise! Health certificates are getting done by whatever means necessary — even if the “exam room” happens to be the back of an SUV.

This week is a little nostalgic for us, too. Dr. Karen and our Practice Manager, Katie, both grew up showing market sheep through 4-H/FFA! 🐑💚 We know firsthand how much time, work, early mornings, late nights, and love go into getting these animals ready for the show ring. We love getting to play a small part in a tradition that meant so much to us growing up.

Good luck to all of our St. Tammany Parish exhibitors this week — we’ll see y’all at the fair! 🎡🐑

🏈🐾 WHO’S YOUR PICK?! 🐾🏈

It’s LSU vs. OLE MISS tonight, and with all the hype surrounding this game, we figured we’d make things a little more interesting around FVC. 👀🔥

💜💛 GEAUX TIGERS
❤️💙 HOTTY TODDY

👇 DROP YOUR PICK IN THE COMMENTS!

We’ll randomly choose ONE lucky winner to receive a $50 FVC GIFT CARD! 🎉🐾

No score predictions. No complicated rules. Just tell us who you’re riding with tonight! 😂🏈

And while y’all are yelling at the TV, remember your four-legged football fans are officially Team Whoever Drops the Snacks. 👀🐶

Keep those wings, bones, chocolate, dips and other game-day goodies out of paw’s reach — because the only upset we want tonight is happening on the football field. 😂🐾

Alright, FVC family… LSU OR OLE MISS?! ⬇️🔥
