Sweet little Missy has a sparkle in her eyes now ✨It’s only been a few days but she’s looking and feeling so much better!! I tie a pillow case around her waist to booster her up. It’s hard for her to get her back legs under her when first stands up. We love this girl 🥰

Meet Missy!

Missy is a 13+ yr old Golden who will be living with us for the rest of her life 💗

Her owner had worsening health issues and was no longer able to care for her.

She was seen by our vet and has a long list of manageable medical issues. She has chronic dry eye and significant skin disease.

Her arthritis is pretty bad but we started Adequan injections and Dasuquin is on order. Several lab values are high pointing to pancreatitis and chronic inflammation.

We are happy to have her ☺️

Missing our Molly girl a little extra today. She was with us for 3 months before she passed 💗

Miss Molly was missing this morning. Apparently, she snuck out of her room sometime last night and was quietly snoozing on the couch. I carried her out to potty- she’s stubborn but compliant. She was outside for a bit while I did other things. I trust her because she has zero prey drive and would rather sleep. It was time to come in and I couldn’t find her. Sure enough, she figured out the dog door and was back on the couch 😂 She can barely walk but jumping on the couch is no problem.
