We are a 501c3 rescue, saving animals to help provide a better quality of life. We believe every animal deserves a chance at a loving home.

Angie’s Dog House is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in the heart of south Alabama. For many years, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to provide rescue services to animals in dire need, those who have been neglected, abandoned, or left without hope. Our mission extends beyond just rescuing pets; we strive to make a meaningful difference in every life we touch. We understand that the bond between humans and their pets is profound and transformative. That’s why we say, “We rescue the pets that save YOU!” By connecting our community with low-cost veterinary services, including spay and neuter programs and vaccinations, we help ensure that everyone has access to the care they need for their furry companions. Each situation is unique, and we handle everything on a case-by-case basis, ensuring personalized support for both animals and their owners. Angie’s Dog House believes it is our responsibility to care for those sick, weak, and abandoned animals who have no voice. We work diligently to rescue these vulnerable animals from overcrowded shelters and off the streets. After providing them with necessary medical care, including spaying or neutering, we partner with rescues located in the northeastern United States, as well as our foster network in Michigan to find them loving, forever homes. Together with your support, we can continue this vital work of compassion by rescuing those who cannot speak for themselves while creating lasting connections between people and pets. Join us on this journey of love and hope as we strive to give every animal the second chance they deserve.

“Saving one animal will not save the world, but surely for that one animal, the world will change forever”- unknown

🐾 Pupdate 🐾

From Obi's mom:

This is Obi (full name Obi-Wan Kenobark), formerly Daxon. He came from a hoarding situation and was terrified of everything, even the feeling of the floor under his feet. We've been together for a week now and he's fully exploring the house, playing tug, giving kisses, following our other dogs around, and cuddling like a pro. He's getting more comfortable each day and we're so proud of him. Look at those sweet eyes!

Can you help us name this little guy?

He looks a little rough around the edges, but after a nice spa day and vet care, he will be on his way to finding a family that will love him!

GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING

We are asking for help for one of our friends who is facing a heartbreaking situation involving more than 15 cats and kittens who desperately need veterinary care.

These cats are suffering from severe internal parasites and bacterial infections that are taking a devastating toll on their bodies. They are literally being eaten from the inside out, and they need medical attention as soon as possible.

Our friend does this work simply out of the kindness of her heart. She uses her extra income to feed, care for, and help cats and kittens who otherwise may have nowhere to go. But this situation has become more than she can handle on her own.

This is exactly why rescue matters. Sometimes the people who are helping everyone else need someone to help them, too.

If you are able, please consider making a donation to help get these cats the veterinary care they desperately need. Every dollar can make a difference in giving them a chance to heal.
