🚨 NEW LAW IN EFFECT 🚨

The Foley Police Department would like to make the community aware of a new law that is officially in effect in the state of Alabama.

Beau's Law came into effect yesterday, October 1st, and impacts dog owners who keep their dogs outdoors.

We'd like to make it clear that this new law does not ban outdoor dogs or all tethering systems. What it does do is legally set minimum requirements that must be met to ensure dogs kept outdoors are provided with a safe tethering system, proper shelter, food, water, and adequate space.

Please be sure to make the necessary changes if this law impacts the current condition of your dogs.

If you need to report a complaint, please do not hesitate to call and we will investigate the situation. Our direct number to dispatch is (251)943-4431.
