Hello everyone! I wanted to check in and let y'all know how I'm doing since leaving the hospital on August 8th.
I've been doing antibiotics thru PIC line twice a day. I should be done by September 9th. 🙏
I have had to cancel sitting jobs and I really hate it, but I have no choice. I'm in a wheelchair for now and I'm healing really well and my surgeon and infectious disease doctors say I'm doing everything right.
I've had calls and messages from so many and I wanted to give everyone an update.
Thank you for all the prayers so far. I have a long recovery ahead of me and I'm looking forward to getting back to taking care of your fur babies again!

Well, if the culture results don't come back tonight, I'll be here for another day. That is one full week of sitting in a bed and begging to go home to my family. I need your prayers that the results come back tonight and don't show a reason to keep me anymore. I'm tired, miserable, and starting to loose my mind a bit. The people here have been great and really taking good care of me. Logan and our babies need me home. I need them too! So please continue to pray for me to be home soon! God bless and thank you all!

Wanted to update everyone on my situation. I've been in the hospital since yesterday with cellulitis and sepsis. I'm receiving tons of heavy duty antibiotics and praying I will be able to get back home soon. My dad is helping out with my check ins while I'm here. (Thank God for him) If everything goes well after the MRI, I should be able to go back to my overnights by the end of the month. Which is perfect! I'll update if anything changes! Thank you to those that have reached out to me through my personal page, text messages, and comments. You have all been a blessing and I can't wait to get home to my sweet babies and love on them!

It's been a crazy, busy last few months. Not complaining 😁 I love my job, but I miss my family too! Gonna take a little time, while it's slow, and get some work done around the house before our wedding in October! I'll do my best to keep posting here! Don't forget to take time for yourself and others. It won't hurt to do some self care from time to time. Have a blessed weekend and I'll be checking on again soon!

Happy birthday to Ms Izzie! She turned 11 years old yesterday! We had fun playing, snuggling, and sharing a few "woooos"! Her and her sister, Taz, have been so much fun to sit with for a month (off and on). Nap time now so talk later! 😜

It's been a crazy few months here and I'm sorry I haven't posted much. I've been taking care of two sweet babies off and on for the past month. Emmie is going to be a great big sister. She is already very patient and teaches him all the rules of the house! He is a perfect rider and is settling in pretty quickly. We love our little family!
