Just wrapped up a 5-day horse clinic with the incredibly talented Harry Whitney & Ronnie Moyer. These gatherings are always a great opportunity to reconnect with friends from across the country, continue learning, and become better humans for our horses.
One of the highlights was watching Harry work with a young mustang named Honor, owned by Matt and Jamie Blees. When the clinic began, Honor had never worn a halter and was extremely wary of human touch. Through Harry’s quiet, thoughtful approach, endless patience, and commitment to taking things one small step at a time, Honor made incredible progress.
By day four, he was comfortably wearing a breakaway halter and beginning to feel more confident with human interaction. It was truly inspiring to witness the transformation of a horse that so many had overlooked.
A big thank you to Matt and Jamie for seeing the potential in this young horse and giving him the opportunity for a bright future. Stories like Honor’s are a reminder of what can happen when patience, understanding, and good horsemanship come together.
