Meet Pinto! 🐶

This sweet guy was recently adopted and has been working with Brett alongside his family to build confidence and manage his anxiety. They focused on basic obedience skills and how to use those skills to help Pinto feel more comfortable in situations he finds challenging.

Pinto is already making great progress! He’s more confident on walks and has a go-to spot with the place command to help him settle when things around the house feel overwhelming.

Meet Brandon! This big, fluffy guy has been working with Brett on leash manners, basic obedience, and building better skills when meeting other dogs.

Brandon is now rocking his walks, holding his place command at home like a champ, and his family now has the tools to work through dog introductions in a safe and productive way. 👏

Meet Scottsdale! 🐾 This handsome young man is currently available for adoption through Hero Dog Rescue | Atlanta Dog Adoption & Foster

Scottsdale has been working with Brett on his basic obedience, including leash manners and learning how to be a good boy in the house. He’s very enthusiastic about life, but he’s also incredibly loving and one smart pup!

Scottsdale is looking for his forever home, but he’d also love a foster home where he can continue practicing his manners. Brett will provide a complimentary lesson for Scottsdale at his next stop so his new family can keep up with everything he’s learned.

Kendra and Walker started training with Brett for their dog Howie and quickly realized their other dog Bernie could use a little structure too. They enjoy doing road races together and Bernie would get so excited to see people that keeping her focused was a challenge.

Fast forward to their most recent race day… and she did great!👏 Still excited, still being Bernie, but able to actually handle all the excitement around her. That’s what we love to see.

Meet Lottie! This sweet girl was rescued by her family and absolutely loves her home, but she can be very timid and anxious. Her mom wanted to help her feel more confident, so they worked with Brett on obedience and learning how to better navigate the situations that made Lottie uncomfortable.

Lottie did an amazing job with her training! As her mom learned how to use the leash and obedience commands to communicate more clearly with her, Lottie began to gain newfound confidence. She is now going on walks with her mom and has become much more confident with her “place” command, giving her a clear job and helping her feel more secure in everyday situations.

This is our friend Mumpy! This pretty girl worked with Brett on leash walking and managing reactivity to other dogs while on walks.

Mumpy has come so far with her leash walking. While she still prefers to spend time with humans more than dogs, her family is able to handle her and redirect her when she sees other dogs on her walks.

Meet Freddie! This handsome guy is our trainee Arnie’s brother who also worked with Brett. Freddie’s family wanted him to work on easier leash walking, settling in the house during downtime, and building confidence while spending time away from his brother.

Freddie is a very smart boy who did great with his training. He has made great progress with staying engaged with his mom on walks instead of following his nose, and he now settles nicely during mealtime and other downtime with his family. He also gained confidence working independently from his brother throughout training.

Meet Arnie! This cute guy was adopted by his family as a puppy along with his brother. His family wanted him to work with Brett on basic manners including leash walking and being able to settle and have down time.

Arnie is a very smart boy who did very well with his training and even seemed to gain some confidence with his new found obedience skills. His family is now able to walk him more easily and enjoy mealtime while Arnie is settled on his “place”.
