🚨 Our fosters are FULL!
As of June 2, we have 28 pugs currently staying in our Keller vet clinic, more at our Dallas vet clinic, and more expected to arrive in the coming days. While we are incredibly grateful for our veterinary partners and the care they provide, this is not sustainable for us, the pugs, or the clinics.
Our full-time fosters are full. Our respite fosters are full. Many of our foster families have already taken on two or even three pugs at a time to help us keep up with demand. Despite that incredible generosity, we still have 28 pugs waiting because we have no foster homes left for them to go to.
Every day a pug remains in boarding costs the rescue $25+ per day, money that could otherwise go toward medical care, surgeries, medications, and future rescues.
If you’re in the DFW or Frisco area, please consider fostering.
You choose your foster pug. You choose your availability. You can take breaks when needed. Even a short-term foster placement can make a tremendous difference.

If you’ve already applied, please be patient as our volunteers work through application approvals. Make sure any pets in the home are up to date on vaccinations and Heartworm preventative. Make sure you have given your vet authorization to release records to us, that will help speed up the process. 🙏 If you’d like to help us speed up this process, please apply to volunteer on our website.
