It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.

In honor of National Veterinary Technician Week, we want to start the week out with a special shout out to our team of incredibly skilled and dedicated technicians!
This team is fueled by the technicians that spend everyday looking to improve themselves to better care for our patients. The work ethic of this team is unmatched. We are so proud every day of the year to support these technicians, but this week we look to give them recognition for their unending efforts.

Meet Nugget!
He has a bilateral cleft lip, but nothing can slow him down!
He visited our team today for imaging (intramural radiographs and cone beam CT) and a prophylactic cleaning. Since he has a cleft lip, special precautions were taken during surgery to assure he did not have any water build up in his nasal cavity.
He had an eventful day with our team!
