After a RUFF day this is the way to end it. I love night time snuggles even if it means I'm sleeping on the side of the bed. 🤣

See! They were happy! They love me.

Story time about Lucy, the OLD red and white girl. This family had fostered her (not sure how long ago). She was recently found in horrible condition. While I wasn't too say poor girl, I won't. She's where she needs to be. She will be spoiled and loved for the time she's with them. ❤️

Great job San Antonio! Put those abusers where the belong!

🚨 Abuse Alert: A San Antonio man has received a 25-year prison sentence, one of the longest EVER handed down in the State of Texas, for abusing his dog in 2019.

Frank Javier Fonseca was caught on camera hitting his dog, Buddy, with a closed fist and a piece of wood, choking, and kicking the dog. City of San Antonio Animal Care Services investigators reported that Fonseca was punishing the dog for getting out of the yard.

Buddy, who has recovered from his injuries, now lives with a new adoptive family. Fonseca's sentence is one of the longest punishments for animal cruelty ever recorded in Texas. Although Buddy endured such cruelty, his story is a reminder to everyone that if you abuse an animal, you ARE going to jail.

Way to go, San Antonio Animal Care Services!

Happy National Dog day! Show me your babies!

Here's an older one of mine. Mudflap, Delta, Dixie and Astrid. Unfortunately I lost Delta a few months ago.

Look at these sweet babies that I've had the privilege of caring for along with some amazing volunteers!
