🐾 Ever wonder how I choose which dogs I board? 🐾

There’s actually a lot that goes into making sure every dog is a good fit for my Wolf Pack! ❤️

When a new family reaches out, I have a list of questions I ask, and one of the BIGGEST things I look for is socialization.

🐶 Have they been around other dogs before?
🐶 Do they enjoy being around other dogs?
🐶 Have they been around a group of 3+ dogs at one time?
🐶 Are they comfortable in a pack-style environment?

I truly do not care about breed, size, or age. My biggest concern is temperament and whether they are sociable and comfortable around other dogs.

For the safety and well-being of the entire Wolf Pack, dogs must also be potty trained and up-to-date on their vaccinations.

I also do not board unfixed males.

And most importantly, every new dog must pass a meet & greet before their first stay. 🐾 During the meet & greet, they get the opportunity to meet ALL of my dogs so I can see how they interact with the pack and make sure everyone is comfortable.

At the end of the day, if I have to turn a dog away because I don’t feel they’re the right fit, it’s worth it. ❤️

Because my goal isn’t just to make sure the dogs here are safe. I want their owners to be able to go on vacation, travel, work, or simply enjoy their time away without worrying about their dog.

I want you to know your dog is safe, comfortable, happy, and having a great time while you’re away. 🐶❤️

That peace of mind for both you AND your pup is what matters most to me.

The right fit makes all the difference! 🐾🐺

• ❤️ Give them extra comfort and reassurance if they’re feeling anxious from the loud noises.

🐾🇺🇸 4th of July Pet Safety Tips from Rachael's Wolfpack 🇺🇸🐾

The Fourth of July is almost here, and while we love the celebration, it can be a stressful time for our furry friends. Here are a few reminders to help keep your pups safe and calm through the holiday:

✅ Make sure ID tags and microchip info are up to date
✅ Create a safe indoor space with closed windows and blinds
✅ Turn on the TV or soothing music to help drown out scary noises
✅ Provide blankets, interactive toys, and treats
✅ Exercise your pup early in the day before festivities begin

⚠️ Keep these hazards out of reach:
Firework debris • Alcohol • Glow sticks • Citronella • Charcoal • Kabob skewers • Cooked bones • Human foods like grapes, onions, corn cobs, chocolate, and fatty/fried foods

Stay calm for your pup, and talk to your vet about pheromones or anti-anxiety support if needed.

Here's a quick cheat sheet:

✅ Safe treats: Blueberries, watermelon, apples, bananas, strawberries, pineapple
❌ Avoid: Grapes, cherries, avocado, raisins, mango, plums
