Want some cute in your home without a twenty year commitment? Consider fostering!
At AZCare, we have no standing facility. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes. We provide all supplies and vet care. You provide the love!
We teach our fosters how to treat common kitten ailments. We have an open chat for new fosters to ask questions and get support from our more experienced fosters.
We know how attached we can get, which is why our fosters are allowed to meet potential adopters and talk with them to ensure that the fuzzy friend they have loved and cared fir goes to a great adoptive home.
If you live in the San Tan Valley or Queen Creek area, you can fill out a volunteer interest form on our website to see if fostering is for you!
Pictured are Teak and Aspen, available soon!

Sometimes a mama needs a break!
Mylee went from sick, skinny, and abandoned to being healthy, happy, and content. She's such a sweet cat, and we love seeing her so relaxed. She will be up for adoption once her kitten is weaned.

Poor little Paddington was alone and scared on someone's back porch. When no mother or siblings could be found, he was trapped in order to give him a chance at a better life. We can't wait to show you how happy and social he is becoming!

Winging their way to the available list tonight are four adorable kittens that were found abandoned in an apartment.
Grackle, Gnatcatcher, Crow, and Mockingbird have proved to be energetic, playful, and affectionate boys who are sure to entertain. They like to sleep in a cuddly pile up, so it is reccomended that they either be adopted in pairs or into a household with a friendly cat that would like a new buddy.

Ready to adopt?
Here is how it works.
We do not do holds, so if the kitten you'd like to meet is not available yet, sit tight! Over the next few weeks, we will have kittens coming available most Fridays. Kittens that are nearly there have photos and personality profiles in the 'pre-available' section of the website. Near the top of that section, you will see a list of names for those coming available this week.
Kittens become available to request Fridays at 9pm. If you are waiting to request one, be sure to refresh your browser at 9pm so the request form shows you the newly available kittens. Submit one form for each kitten you are interested in meeting.
Meet and greets are scheduled in order of which form we received first. Generally if you are there to request your favorite right at 9pm, you will be first in line. If a kitten has rare coloring or otherwise has a lot of interest, we can't guarantee you'll be first. We reccomend looking at those personality profiles and choosing a few that would fit your family well rather than focusing all your hopes on one.
First in line? Great! The foster for that kitten will reach out to set up a time to meet the kitten, typically at the Petsmart in Queen Creek. The foster has had the kitten in their home for some time, and can give you the known history and answer any questions you may have. The foster will also have some questions for you to ensure a good match.
Any questions? We're here to help!

Today we got 28 cats and kittens spayed and neutered! Many of these came from outside. Only 20-25% of outdoor kittens make it to their first birthday. Spaying and neutering outdoor kitties prevents the suffering of the other 75%. All the kittens pictured here are social, happy kittens that will soon be ready for forever homes!

Who's that in the Petsmart habitat?
Meet Goliath!

Goliath is fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, felv/fiv negative, and microchipped. You can see him now at the Petsmart habitat in Queen Creek@

Beautiful little Birch has a splash of orange, earning her the label of a patched tabby. Like her brother Teak, Birch has the classic tabby face, but very little striping otherwise. This makes her a ticked tabby, too.
This playful gal really doesn't care what you call her coat, just so long as the toys, treats, and cuddles keep coming!
Birch and her littermates will be available for adoption soon!
