**Why do our dogs look the way they do,**
, Simple, the superior pedigrees and selective breeding over the course of a hundred years. Here at Rys N Hy, we continue to be very selective of the dog it's self with a good pedigree backing that has specific traits we feel better the breed; temperament, grace, intelligences, structure, soundness, and drive. We only breed to have well-rounded dogs not only in mind and body but as spirit as well. They are from Old Lines that have now days been all but lost in a new forever changing world. You'll see they appear to be "small" Siberian huskies but really they are to breed standard (AKC&SHCA). They highly intelligent huskies that are calm, easy to train and still have the drive to work. Here at Rys N Hy we are proud to strive to keep the look, ability and spirit of the dogs that came before ours in every generation produced, for home, show and work. So while you’re looking for your next best friend or your next show/working partner, ask yourself what would you choose? Beauty or Brains? Answer- YOU DON’T HAVE TO with a Rys N Hy Siberian because the have beauty, brains and more!
***How are our Puppies raised and How does that make them different?***
Here at Rys N Hy take our responsibility seriously:
To provide you the perfect puppy, uniquely Rys N Hy, from one of our carefully planned breedings. All puppies are born and raised in our home NOT in a dog house or barn!! We have a room in our home set up just for new moms and their puppies. Puppies at Rys N Hy receive early handling protocols and are temperament tested. With these protocols will follow up with “Early Neurological Stimulation”. Early neurological stimulation is used in order to give the puppy a superior advantage. Its development utilized six exercises which were designed to stimulate the neurological system. Each workout involved handling puppies once each day. The workouts required handling them one at a time while performing a series of five exercises. Listed in order of preference the handler starts with one pup and stimulates it using each of the five exercises. The handler completes the series from beginning to end before starting with the next pup. The handling of each pup once per day involves the following exercises:
o Tactical stimulation (between toes)
o Head held erect
o Head pointed down
o Supine position
o Thermal stimulation.
“These five exercises will produce neurological stimulations, none of which naturally occur during this early period of life. These exercises impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected. The result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance. Those who play with their pups and routinely handle them should continue to do so because the neurological exercises are not substitutions for routine handling, play socialization or bonding. “ - Dr. Carmen Battaglia
Benefits of Stimulation
o Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate)
o Stronger heart beats
o Stronger adrenal glands
o More tolerance to stress and
o Greater resistance to disease. See the Rys N Hy difference for yourself! Rys N Hy has been actively breeding Siberian Huskies to be more calm, reliable, eager to please, and obedient. Not only has it been scientifically proven that tameness is an inherited trait, but we have witnessed it first-hand over the years. Because we of our very selective breeding program, allowing only the absolute smartest individuals that also have all the other traits we want, from each litter to be allowed to reproduce. This selection has kept the Rys N Hy line in a constant state of evolution as far as trainability concerns. Using this method, only the most obedient and versatile specimens are left to be an influence on the next generation of puppies.
