ADOPT JUSTICE! The last Furgotten dog 💔
This is Justice— an 8-year-old Pittie whose heart is as big as his head! 🥰
Justice is the heart and soul of what Furgotten Dog Rescue has always meant: “Helping the unwanted.”
Justice came from a life of abuse. He was famous, and not in a good way, after a viral Facebook video showed his owners beating him with a hammer and a crutch. With his owners in jail, Justice was forced to go to the shelter, where he placed on the euthanasia list. So, Furgotten Dog Rescue came to his rescue— or so I thought….
When people see that a rescue has Justice, they think, “He’s safe.” But as a rescue, I want everyone to know that being “ALIVE” and having a “QUALITY LIFE” are not the same 😞
That being said, I have to be honest and admit that I cannot give Justice the life he deserves 😭
Because of the dynamics between the dogs I am keeping, Justice has to be rotated. That means Justice spends most of his time in a spare bedroom because I cannot safely have everyone together.
He deserves more than a spare bedroom. He deserves more than 45 minutes of attention a day. He deserves more than being “safe.”
This is not due to a lack of commitment. I have fostered and committed to Justice for 7 YEARS. That is 7 years of rotating. 7 years without a family. 7 years of being passed over. 7 years of being “safe” but never truly being home.
And I do not want his story end that way 🙏
I want Justice to know what it’s like to have someone look at his sweet face and think, “How did nobody want you?” 🥺
So if this person is out there, and willing to give Justice his forever home, I am willing to pay for his food and veterinary care for the rest of his life 🤩
Justice’s adoption will mark the end of of a fostering era with Furgotten Dog Rescue, but will start a new mission with the idea of helping owners keep the pets they love before those pets become “unwanted.”
But first…
I need to finish what Furgotten Dog Rescue started— and Justice is the last Furgotten dog who needs a furever home.
➡️ If you or someone you know would be interested in adopting, please message text Stephanie at 513-623-7109 for more information the adoption process ❤️
‼️Justice is great with kids, okay with 1 other large dog (no small dogs), dog reactive on a leash, hates cats, hates a crate, and loves his in fenced yard‼️
