My name is Dr. Calen Eckl and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Associate Veterinarian at Florence Animal Hospital.

Many of you may recognize me from my time spent working and learning at Florence Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant over the past eight years. As a lifelong Shoals native, I am so excited to return after graduating LSU School of Veterinary Medicine as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I previously attended UNA and graduated in 2022 from the Cole Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

As your new Associate Veterinarian, I will continue to provide the high standard of care you have come to expect from Florence Animal Hospital for your dog and cat family members, as well as use my special interest and focused training to provide quality care for pocket pets and exotic patients.
