Fall is here, and seasonal allergies are not just a problem for people!

While we may associate allergies with spring, dogs and cats can also experience environmental allergies during the fall. Pollen, mold, and other allergens can leave pets feeling itchy and uncomfortable.

Unlike people, who often experience sneezing and watery eyes, pets frequently show allergy symptoms through their skin and ears.

Here are some signs to watch for:

Fisher Animal Hospital Halloween Costume Contest!

Calling all ghouls, goblins, goodest boys and girls! It is time to show us your pet's spookiest, silliest, or most creative Halloween look!

Fisher Animal Hospital's 2026 Pet Halloween Costume Contest is officially on, and we cannot wait to see what you come up with!

How to enter:
Email a photo of your pet in costume to [email protected] by October 31 at 5 PM, or stop by Fisher Animal Hospital with your costumed pet and we will take their picture!

Voting:
Vote for your favorites November 2–6 (until 5 PM) on our page or in our lobby.
