Here are some of our daycare and boarding crew beating the heat in the pools!
During these hot summer months, we keep our guests as comfortable as possible by providing pools, hanging shade cloth, and keeping our sleeping barns air conditioned so they can continue to enjoy services throughout the year!

That said, on some of these REALLY hot days, we want to encourage our DAYCARE clients who have dogs in sensitive groups, like brachycephalic (flat-faced) dogs, heavy-coated dogs like huskies, malamutes, etc., or elderly or otherwise fragile dogs, to consider adjusting their daycare schedules whenever possible. We open as early as 7AM, so consider a half day with a lunchtime pickup, or if necessary, keep them home!

Dogs who are boarding with us get rotated into indoor spaces or single-use runs as necessary to beat the heat, but for dogs who are just here to play, let's stay safe :)

We are so lucky to have two AMAZING puppies from VS Golden Fields both in service dog training at the same time. These brothers were both selected for their service dog potential, and it's so cool to see how similar but also how DIFFERENT they are.
We are so looking forward to watching these boys grow and learn. Stay tuned for lots more Henry and Spyl content!

🐾 An Important Update for Our Pack 🐾

To our amazing community of dog parents, we want to start by saying thank you. We love being your pups' home away from home, and nothing matters more to us than their happiness, safety, and well-being.

We always do our best to keep our rates as low and accessible as possible. However, in order to keep up with rising supply costs and—most importantly—to invest in our incredible team, we are adjusting our daycare pricing. Boarding and training prices are NOT changing at this time.

Our top priority is ensuring we maintain the staffing levels needed for safe, attentive, and adequate supervision for every single dog in our care.

Each year, there are dangerous encounters between Grand Canyon visitors and wildlife, like elk. So the park created a new program to reduce these interactions, with the introduction of their newest employee, Blue the Catahoula dog.
