🌻❤️ THIS RIGHT HERE! THIS IS WHY I CREATED MIMI’S FARM STAND TRAIL!

Remember those Kentucky guests who visited FIVE of our seven farm stands this weekend?

Well, I just heard back from Lauren, and I’m grinning all over again!

She said if it hadn’t been for their golf trip, she would have made it to all seven! 😂

She spent $40 at My Tiny Gift Shop buying goodies for herself, her pet, and her friends. She loved the adorable little pink cottage, too!

And they headed home with cinnamon rolls, brownies, bagels, cake pops, and even some chapstick!

But here’s what really got me. Lauren said:

“This was such a fun experience and I never would have known about this if it weren’t for your map!!”

Y’ALL. ❤️

That’s what this is about.

A couple comes to Switzerland County for a little getaway, and because of a simple farm stand guide, they discover our neighbors, spend money in our little businesses, and take a piece of our community home with them.

Those dollars didn’t go to some big chain. They went to real people right here around us.

And the best part? Lauren had FUN doing it!

To our farm stand ladies, I hope this encourages you. Your little stands are making a big impression!

One little guesthouse. Seven wonderful farm stands. And visitors discovering just how special our corner of Indiana really is. 🌻

My Papaw’s favorite: Mincemeat Pie. As a kid, the name made me cringe, and I wouldn’t ever try it. But mincemeat contains no “meat” like I used to always assume as a kid… apples, raisins, nuts, spices, etc… just all the seasonal goodness.

To all my fellow canning friends:
Anyone use these type of canning jars, with the one solid lid with the button on top? It’s jam and jelly season for me, and I’m super impressed with how they are turning out! I also like that they are bigger, (12oz) which is more product for a larger family…..Anyone else use these??
