We got gardens to guard, things to tend to, yall. Live with a grateful heart and you’ll have the most beautiful garden of a life!

Know what it is to be content with your lot and to enjoy it.
“Godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either….flee from the love of money, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called…be rich in good works, be generous and ready to share, store up the treasure of a good foundation for the future, SO THAT they may take hold of THAT which is life indeed. GUARD what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and opposing stgumrnt of what is falsely called ‘knowledge.’ “ 1 Timothy 6: 6-7, 10-12, 18-20

Paul told us about gardens, like Eden, like our future, as long as we could stay content and focus on and know the truth. Gardens are symbolic and there’s a lot to think about here!

Six years ago we shared publicly that The Animal Doctor had been formed and would soon come to the community. We believed there was a need and you proved that to be true. There is a beautiful group of pet owners out there longing for a team of dedicated and intentional professionals to connect with and participate in their pet’s care. And to you, we say thank you for allowing us to carry out our purposes as we serve the Lord in serving everything that has breath.

Our original “launching pad” has been so perfect - it gave us roots AND wings here. We will forever cherish it, our time there, and the memories made.

Earlier this year, we held some dirt in our hands as symbol of all that was to come, as we eagerly broke ground to develop our custom home to better meet the same clear need in our community. Last week, we had our first days inside our new walls. God has been so so good. We are thrilled to continue to provide the same great care and connection at another level. (Psalm 24:1: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”)

Thank you to GBD construction, and all the businesses they partnered with, for carrying out the vision absolutely flawlessly. No detail was overlooked.

Thank you to the TAD team for your commitment to the Lord, The Animal Doctor, each other, and our P*e Dee community.

Most importantly, thank you God for equipping us each with our gifts to bring a portion of heaven to earth. We are privileged to be in the seats to do so and we don’t take the calling lightly. We ask for wisdom (James 1:5) on a daily basis (Matthew 6:11) and we continue to work with the Lord (Matthew 11:30) to use our gifts (1 Peter 4:10). We know we have been blessed to be entrusted with this purpose, our lives, and caring for you and yours (Matthew 25) and we intend to make much of Him in this life.

All that to say, there are no words to appropriately articulate our gratitude for each day, each person, each pet, and God; so we hope our simple heart felt thank you will suffice. Thank you.
