We enjoy this beautiful world of vet med.

Some of the things your team here at The Animal Doctor find joy in are
-the people and our relationships
-ever evolving dynamics and growth
-being a source of help and providing understanding for others
-using our technical skills
-being hands on and bonding with people through their pets
-hide and seek (when your pet ingests a toy and we have to find it one way or another)
-enhancing the human animal bond and depth of love possible

We hope you are able to find joy despite and because of the hard in life!

This pup stumbled right on the animal lottery when he found his new humans today and their first call was the vet. If you can’t tell, the owner is smitten and Dr. D’Angelo supports their union 😂

We just wanted you to know that as your lives continue on after the loss of your pets, you are not alone in missing them and recalling sweet memories. Thank you to every person who shared a little bit, or a lot, of your pet with us. We love them so. Knowing our time is on loan is one way to be sure we give them our best each day and care for them to the fullest.

Thankful 💕

Seeing clearly? We are. Ever wonder why we can keep our eyes so focused on the mission, rebound from any hurdles or obstacles, not even consider them setbacks?

Windshields and windshield wipers. Stay with us for a minute.

Have you ever thought about windshield and their wipers? What are their purposes?

Windshields - they serve as protective barriers, ensuring clear visibility, contributing to structural integrity, enhancing comfort and safety. Nobody wants to ride through life with wind and bugs in their face - not too comfy and certainly unable to see.

Wipers - essential for keeping the necessary windshield clear, maintaining visibility.

Yea yea, now what’s that got to do with veterinary medicine?

Just like cars have parts necessary for intentional and optimal functionality, so do we as humans, and does this field.

People serve their purposes best when well cared for and tended to.

Do you have something that allows you to safely make it through today’s road in life, and is visibility maintained?

SLOW DOWN!

You can’t run at a million miles per hour pace for very long.

Life is a marathon, not a sprint.

Empty the mind from time to time. Take mental inventory. Really let yourself think about what truly matters. See clearly.

Clean the windshield.

What really matters? And are you focused on that? You can’t neglect the little things that allow for the big things.

“Answers must be fished from the depths and what is fishing but slowing down? being both relaxed and high attuned to your environment? And ultimately, catching hold of what lurks below the surface and reeling it in?” Ryan Holiday

We can see clearly. Can you?

We all know what it feels like to experience someone not really “there.” It’s a bummer, maybe discouraging.

And hopefully we have all had the privilege to experience what it feels like when someone is completely present. You feel considered, heard, loved. It’s encouraging and powerful.

Let’s be those people. Let’s be there for people. Present. Intentional. Caring.

“We are on this journey as partners to learn how to enjoy today more fully”

“Look at everything as if you were seeing it for the first time or last time: thus is your time on earth filled with glory.”

“This is a wonderful day. I’m seeing it for the first time.” Maya Angelou
