🔴 Recovery Isn't Just About Rest — It's About Healing.
Did you know that laser therapy can help support your pet's recovery after surgery?
Also known as therapeutic laser therapy, this non-invasive treatment uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular activity and promote healing at the tissue level.
Benefits of post-operative laser therapy may include:
✅ Reduced inflammation
✅ Decreased pain and discomfort
✅ Improved circulation to healing tissues
✅ Faster tissue repair and recovery
✅ Reduced swelling at the surgical site
✅ A more comfortable recovery experience
Many pets find laser therapy relaxing, and treatments are painless. There are no incisions, no sedation, and most sessions only take a few minutes.
Whether your pet has undergone a spay/neuter, mass removal, orthopedic procedure, or other surgery, laser therapy can be a valuable tool to support the healing process and help them get back to feeling their best.
Have questions about whether laser therapy could benefit your pet's recovery? We'd be happy to discuss whether it's a good option for your furry family member. 🐾

💉 Don't Skip the Immunizations: Why Cattle Vaccinations Matter,
Vaccines help protect your herd from costly diseases that can impact:
✔️ Growth and weight gain
✔️ Reproductive performance
✔️ Calf health and survival
✔️ Treatment costs
✔️ Overall herd profitability
Many cattle diseases spread before animals show obvious signs of illness. By the time symptoms appear, production losses may have already occurred.
A consistent vaccination program helps:
🐄 Reduce the risk of disease outbreaks
🐄 Strengthen immunity before high-stress events like weaning, breeding, transport, or pasture turnout
🐄 Protect vulnerable calves during critical stages of development
🐄 Improve overall herd health and performance
Think of vaccines as an investment—not an expense. The cost of prevention is often far less than the cost of treating sick animals and lost production.
📅 Not sure if your herd is due for vaccinations? Contact us to review your herd health program and make sure your cattle are protected for the season ahead.

🏕️ Before You Take Your Dog Camping, Hiking, or to the Lake This Summer...
A little preparation can make the difference between a great adventure and an unexpected trip to the vet.
Before you hit the trails or load up for the lake, make sure your dog is:
✔️ Up to date on flea and tick prevention
✔️ Protected against heartworms
✔️ Current on recommended vaccines, including those that may be needed for outdoor activities
✔️ Wearing identification tags and/or has a registered microchip
✔️ Packed with plenty of fresh water and a travel bowl
✔️ Conditioned for the activity level you have planned
Keep an eye out for:
⚠️ Ticks
⚠️ Heat exhaustion
⚠️ Dehydration
⚠️ Cuts and paw injuries
⚠️ Blue-green algae near ponds and lakes
The best adventures are the safe ones. A quick health check and prevention plan before your trip can help keep the focus on making memories—not dealing with emergencies.
Where is your dog's favorite summer adventure spot? Tell us below! 🐾👇

Pasture turnout season is more than just opening the gate. 🌱🐂
A little preparation now can make a big difference in herd health, performance, and profitability later. Before cattle head to pasture, here are a few key management steps to consider:
💉 Vaccinations
Help protect against common respiratory, gastrointestinal and reproductive diseases before cattle are exposed to stress and new environments.
🪱 Deworming
Spring parasite control can improve overall health, weight gain, and pasture performance. While helping keep pastures clear of parasites.
⚖️ Record Weights on Cows
Getting accurate weights now helps monitor performance throughout the grazing season and supports proper dosing for medications.
🏷️ Proper Identification
Ear tags or other ID methods help keep records accurate and make herd management easier all season long.
Pasture turnout is one of the busiest times of year — but taking the time to prepare cattle properly can help prevent problems down the road and set your herd up for a productive grazing season.
Need help building your spring processing plan? Give us a call to schedule your herd work before turnout season gets into full swing

Ticks are EVERYWHERE right now — and this season is shaping up to be one of the heaviest we’ve seen. 🕷️🐾
The problem with ticks?
They’re more than just annoying. Ticks can carry diseases that affect both pets and people, and many pets won’t show signs until illness has already developed.
⚠️ Tick-borne diseases can cause:
• Fever
• Joint pain/lameness
• Lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Swollen lymph nodes
• In severe cases, kidney or neurological issues
And here’s the tricky part:
❗You don’t have to live in the woods for your pet to be exposed.
Ticks are showing up in backyards, parks, fence rows, hiking trails, and even urban areas.
What you can do to protect your pet:
✔️ Keep pets on consistent flea & tick prevention
✔️ Check your pet after being outdoors
✔️ Remove ticks promptly and properly
✔️ Keep grass and brush trimmed around the home
✔️ Ask us which prevention works best for your pet’s lifestyle
Not all flea & tick products are created equal — and with tick populations as high as they are right now, prevention matters more than ever.
If your pet needs updated prevention or you’ve found ticks already this season, give us a call. We can help you choose the best protection plan.
