We are a Full Service Hunter/Jumper Facility owned by trainer Patti Wright-Shoemaker, USEF "R" Judge

Winterview Farm, located 8 miles west of the city of Madison, in the beautiful Madison County countryside is a full-service Hunter and Jumper equestrian facility. We offer boarding, training, lessons and summer horsemanship camp. Patti Wright-Shoemaker, her husband Jimmy, along with the entire staff is dedicated to providing quality care and training for our horses and students in a family oriente

d environment. We have served the greater Jackson area for 30 years and are currently boarding and training for third generation families.

EXEL SUMMER SPECTACULAR🔥☀️😎

We travelled to Germantown this past weekend to check out the new and improved show grounds! It was a hot one but we had so much fun. This group of girls is so supportive, and we loved watching them cheer each other on. Horse showing is always better with great friends!👯‍♀️🐴

A huge thank you to the parents of these sweet girls, y’all were so helpful with setting up and tearing down, we could not have survived the weekend without you!

HIGHLIGHTS:

🔥SCOTCH AND SODA and Holly Ware were CHAMPION in the combined short/long stirrup hunter division and 🥈 in the eq over fences! This pair also rode to 8th in the hunter derby out of a whopping 39 entries!
🔥SEVEN KARATS and Emma Papadimitriou were not far behind, placing 🥈 in a large short/long stirrup undersaddle and 🥈 in and over fences! Emma and Karats also put in a solid classic derby round, just missing the cutoff for the handy!
🔥TANTALLON MINT TO BE and Molly McGuffie learned so much at their first “away” show together and put in great rounds in a competitive children’s hunter pony division, taking home a 🥉 in the undersaddle and a 🥉in an over fences!
🔥EMBLEM and Ella Wilson had a blast speeding around in the .90 jumpers, although Emblem thought the jumps should’ve been bigger😉
🔥HENDAR MAIL and Meghan Humphreys were CHAMPION in the 2’6” hunter division! Thanks Emme Skinner for the ride on your fabulous horse, we are having so much fun with him and we can’t wait for you to get back in the irons!

☀️😎CAMP 5😎☀️

THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR REGULAR SUMMER HORSEMANSHIP CAMP! Camp 5 was a great way to round out a full month of camp! These guys had so much fun! They loved getting to show off their new skills during the Friday horse show! We are so proud of all they learned and hope to see them back next summer!

The costume contest winner this week was Remy with Poppy, she was a soccer player and Poppy was a soccer field!⚽️

Huge thank you to our counselors for all your hard work these past 5 weeks! We appreciate you!

☔️⛈️CAMP 4⛈️☔️

You can’t rain on our parade!!! We had a wet week, but that didn’t slow these campers down one bit! We rode and swam during breaks in the showers, the kids even suggested riding ba****ck to save time and beat the rain! If it was raining too hard to go outside, we were having fashion shows in the barn aisle👯‍♀️💃
Another great week with a fun group of kids!

We had TWO costume winners this week (one in each group!) Teegan and Nacho were Santa and his reindeer, and Frances and Poppy were a shepherd and sheep! 🎅🐏

HUGE THANKS TO OUR COUNSELORS! We appreciate you splashing around with us all week! Thanks for all you do!!!!
