🌈☔️A fun, rainy weekend on the coast!☔️🌈

Winterview had a great time at the KOHS Green Grass of Spring show in Gulfport! Our two riders each took home a champion and the horses couldn’t have been better!

HIGHLIGHTS:
☔️HENDAR MAIL and EMME SKINNER had a clean sweep in the combined Pre-Junior/Am Hunter division, taking champion! They were also 2nd in the $400 Hunter Classic!
☔️THE WHOLE ENCHILADA and CARA TSIOURIS took their first “away” show by storm, riding to champion in the Short Stirrup Hunter division and 4th in the $400 Hunter Classic! They also put in great trips today in the Short Stirrup Eq, earning a 🥈 in an over fences and 🥈 on the flat!

Way to go, girls! We love a small, but mighty, crew!!! Thanks to Krewe of Horse Sports for a great show!

⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⭐️

We are so proud of our graduating seniors!!!

Sara Madalin Brown will be attending Mississippi College, majoring in Biology. After MC, she plans to go to Mississippi State University for vet school!👩‍🔬🔬

Rachel Olszewski will be attending Mississippi State University, majoring in Kinesiology for Pre-Nursing! She hopes to be a pediatric intensive care or mother-baby nurse! She plans to rush and try out for MSU’s equestrian team🐎👩‍⚕️

Kayla Jernigan will be attending Holmes Community College, majoring in Early Childhood Special Education! 📚📖

Nora Manasco will be attending Mississippi State University, majoring in Animal and Dairy Science (Pre-Vet) and hopes to attend Texas A&M for large animal veterinary medicine!🐄🐴

ConGRADulations, girls! Your Winterview family is so proud of you, and we wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors!

BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!🌷💕🐴

Winterview Farm’s Mother Day Classic was a huge success! The Mother’s Day Leadline was our favorite part of the day! Thanks to everyone for coming out and joining in on the fun! Thank you to Jay Moore for great judging, Taylor Ray Kazery for announcing, Kim Ray for working the gate, Jordan Skinner for stepping up as show secretary, and Brittany Jones Short for organizing such a fun show! And of course, thanks to our awesome dads and grandads for running a delicious concession stand!! Best grilled cheeses in town!!

HIGHLIGHTS: (buckle up, it’s a long one!!)

🌷CARA TSIOURIS and THE WHOLE ENCHILADA were the big winners of the I❤️Mom All Day Hunter Classic! They were also champion in the short stirrup!
🌷MOLLY BITTLE and NORTHERN LIGHTS took the champion prize in the long stirrup along with 4th in the Classic!
🌷LORELEI BONDS and ZOROCCO jumped to reserve champion in the long stirrup and 3rd in the Classic!
🌷ADELEINE VALONE and BUGSY MALONE (hey that rhymes!!!) had super trips their first time in the short stirrup division!
🌷EMILY REYNOLDS and STAR CITY earned their first blue as a team in one of their over fences rounds in the long stirrup division!
🌷HOLLY WARE and SCOTCH AND SODA put in some great rounds in the long stirrup hunters and were 6th in the Classic!
🌷MOLLY MCGUFFIE and TANTALLON MINT TO BE stepped back into the show ring after some time away and earned reserve champion in the children’s pony hunters!
🌷RACHEL OLSZEWSKI and HI LIGHT were champion their first time out in the pre-child hunters with a win in the hack!
🌷EMME SKINNER and HENDAR MAIL were right behind them with reserve champion in the pre-child! They were also 5th in the Classic!
🌷GIGI ADAMS and LUMINARY were champion in the children’s hunters with some awesome trips!
🌷SARA MADALIN BROWN and VIRGINIA GOLD were right on their tail with reserve champion in the children’s hunters and 8th in the classic!
🌷MIRISSA CAMPBELL and POPROCKS had so much fun at their first show, earning a 2nd in one of their over fences classes in the trot x division!
🌷MILANI CAMPBELL and EARLY BIRD continue on a hot streak with another champion in the walk trot division! Milani was also reserve champion in the trot x!
🌷MARY BROCK and WIZARD OF ROZ actually tied with Milani for champion in the walk trot at their very first show together!
🌷KITTY CARSWELL and HONEST ABE were champion in the rusty stirrup division at their first show together!
🌷ANNELISE BLANTON and CRUISIN’ BY MOONLIGHT were reserve champion in the rusty stirrup division!
🌷CECILIA BROWN and SWEET PEA had great rounds in the trot x division at Cece’s first show ever!
🌷JULIA MILLER and HARRY POTTER were champion in the mini stirrup, extra impressive due to last minute class changes!
🌷MAE ALEX GILES and LARRY DALE had great trips in the mini stirrup division!
🌷AVA MADDOX and POP QUIZ were champion in the pre-short stirrup and reserve champion in the mini stirrup!
🌷EMILY MILLER and EARLY BIRD did it again, tying with Julia for champion in the mini stirrup!

Shoutout to our superstar future riders,
KELLEN JONES, MAGGIE KAZERY, HANNAH HUMPHREYS, and JOHN MURAD for an awesome leadline outing!!!

As always, we are so proud of all our riders and horses. You guys make it so much fun!!!!

🌸🏆MHJA SPRING PREMIER🏆🌸

Winterview rocked it this weekend! We had some new horse/rider combos, riders competing in new classes, and even some first time competitors! We are so proud of all our riders and of course, these wonderful horses! Thanks to our fantastic clients and MHJA for a great weekend!

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

🌸 SCOTCH AND SODA and HOLLY WARE started off the weekend with a CHAMPION in the long stirrup hunter division, winning both over fences! Holly and Sporty took home FIRST in the $500 Cadence Bank All Day Hunter Classic out of 18 riders! This pair also did their first Hunter derby ever, and earned 8th out of a big group! Sporty was also RESERVE CHAMPION in the Open 2’ Hunter with Meghan Humphreys riding!
🌸 THE WHOLE ENCHILADA and CARA TSIOURIS jumped to RESERVE CHAMPION in a super competitive short stirrup hunter division! Cara and Nacho earned 4th in the All Day Hunter Classic! This pair also competed in their very first Hunter derby and were 5th out of 18 horses! They have been practicing handy rounds in lessons and they were so ready to show off! Nacho enjoyed himself a little too much in the victory gallop and had to bow out early🐎🤪
🌸 LUMINARY and GIGI ADAMS were FIRST in the $500 Southern Farm Bureau Equitation Challenge! They had great trips in the Children’s Hunter division, earning RESERVE CHAMPION! Gigi and Lumi were 4th in the $2000 Centerfold Farm Hunter Derby with a super handy trip! Gigi rounded out the weekend by winning the over fences and flat in the 15-17 Eq! Lumi was also RESERVE CHAMPION in the Open 2’6” Hunter division with Meghan Humphreys!
🌸 HENDAR MAIL and EMME SKINNER got to show off all their hard work they’ve put in since Gulfport, taking home CHAMPION in the Pre-Child Hunter division with 2 blues in the over fences! They were 3rd in the All Day Hunter Classic! They also put in a great first derby trip, with some slick handy turns! Hank was also CHAMPION in the Open 2’6” Hunter division with Meghan Humphreys!
🌸 SEVEN KARATS and EMMA PAPADIMITRIOU had a great weekend putting in consistent trips in the short stirrup hunter division! They were 7th in the All Day Hunter Classic with some of their best scores yet! Emma and Karats were also first timers in the hunter derby and put in a super first round!
🌸 POP QUIZ and JOSIE GRANTHAM had a fun first show together in the long stirrup division! Josie and Smarty earned top 3 ribbons in almost all of their classes! Smarty had so much fun getting back into the show ring, and Josie rode him so well!
🌸 ZORROCO and LORELEI BONDS also hit the show ring as a first time pair and Zorroco was happy to show off! He was catching some air in the long stirrup division, and Lorelei loved every second! Zorroco was 2nd in the long stirrup undersaddle and Lorelei was 2nd in the long stirrup eq flat!
🌸 STAR CITY and EMILY REYNOLDS continue to improve, putting in consistent trips in the long stirrup hunter division! Archer turned 6 years old today, and he was so grown up in the ring! Archer was RESERVE CHAMPION in the baby green hunter division with Meghan Humphreys! We are so excited about this young horse!
🌸 VIRGINIA GOLD owned by Sara Madalin Brown came to play this weekend! He was CHAMPION in the 3’ Performance Hunter division with Brittany Jones in the irons! Then caught some rides with Gigi Adams in the Children’s Hunters! It was Gigi’s first time piloting Copper around the show ring, and she did a great job!
🌸 EARLY BIRD had a busy weekend with MILANI CAMPBELL and also EMILY MILLER! Milani and Earl were CHAMPION on Saturday in the Walk Trot division! Emily and Earl kept the winning streak going and earned CHAMPION in the Pre-Long Stirrup division on Sunday!
🌸 HAPPY CAMPER and MAANVI MUNDRA had a super first show together! Maanvi piloted S’mores to RESERVE CHAMPION in the Restricted Trot X division! These two make such a great team, Maanvi had S’mores floating around the ring!
🌸 BUGSY MALONE and AVA MADDOX also made their debut as a pair, earning RESERVE CHAMPION in the Mini Stirrup division! Bugsy went right back to his winning ways after a break from showing, and Ava did a super job with him!
🌸 LARRY DALE and MAE ALEX GILES really found their rhythm this weekend, putting in winning trips to earn RESERVE CHAMPION in the Pre-Long Stirrup division! Everyone knew when she jumped the last jump that she had won that trip!
🌸 MAGGIE KAZERY and KELLEN JONES made their Leadline debut aboard the best ponies ever, THE WHOLE ENCHILADA and BUGSY MALONE! The future is bright!
