🌱 A few weeks ago this Elephant Ear was just a tiny sprout.

Now it's looking like something straight out of Jurassic Park. 🦖🌿

At this rate I'm expecting a velociraptor to emerge from the flower bed by July.

These little fluff balls are actually Silkie chicks, one of the most unique chicken breeds in the world. Their feathers are so soft and fluffy that most people mistake them for something else entirely. 😂

These little peeps are moving up in the world! 👑

They started in a storage tub under a heat lamp. Two weeks later... they need a penthouse. So we built a replacement brooder until we figure out what type of chicken coop to build or buy.

They’re growing like weeds, and honestly? This is why I love what I do.

Did you know Elephant Ears aren't usually grown for their flowers? Most gardeners grow them for their massive tropical leaves, which can reach several feet across and transform an ordinary garden into a jungle oasis.

These little sprouts are just getting started, but before long they'll be stealing the spotlight in the garden. 🌱

Today's forecast at Pawz Ark:

🐰 Thanos spent the afternoon peeking out his little bunny bungalow window keeping an eye on the rain.

🐰 Jeremy decided the best strategy was to stretch out under a bale of pine straw and wait for better weather.

Honestly, they may have this whole "adulting" thing figured out better than the rest of us. 😂
