🍂🐾 GOOD MORNING & HAPPY MONDAY!

New week, fresh start, and approximately 47 reasons why we all need another cup of coffee. ☕😂

October is flying by, and we’re ready for another busy week of taking care of your furry family members!

🩷 Our October special is still going strong!

🩸 15% OFF BLOODWORK ALL MONTH LONG!

Bloodwork can help us catch changes that aren’t always obvious, even when your pet seems perfectly healthy. A little preventative care can go a long way!

🎃 AND THERE’S MORE!

Every visit that includes bloodwork this month earns an entry into our Halloween Basket Drawing!

Whether your pet needs a wellness check, isn’t feeling quite right, or is due for routine care, we’re here for you!

🐾 Same-day care. No appointments necessary.

📲 Check in from home:

Here’s to a great week, healthy pets, and hopefully enough caffeine to get us all through Monday! ☕🩷

💕🐾 The Schwartz Family Has Grown by Four Tiny Paws! 🐾💕

The secret is officially out, and our hearts are officially stolen! 🥹💗

Please help us welcome the newest (and tiniest!) member of the Schwartz family and our Veterinary Medical Hospital family…

🎀 Miss Charlotte Mae Schwartz! 🎀

This sweet little has officially made her grand entrance, and we are completely, ridiculously in love! 💕

Big sisters Willow and Sophie are adjusting to their new roles. Willow is curious, Sophie has some opinions, and Charlotte? Well, she’s just happy to be here and completely unaware that she’s turned everyone’s world upside down. 😂🐾

We have a feeling this little lady is going to fit right in with our crew of spoiled princesses!

Welcome home, Charlotte Mae! You’ve already got us wrapped around those tiny little paws. 💗

Love, the Schwartz Family & Your VMH Family 🐾💕

🚨 Friendly reminder from your veterinary team: please don’t give your pet medication unless a veterinarian has directed you to.

We know it can be tempting when you have something left over at home—or when a friend says, “My dog took this!”—but medications are not one-size-fits-all.

The wrong medication, the wrong dose, an old prescription, or even a medication that was previously prescribed to that same pet can cause serious problems. Some human medications can also be dangerous or toxic to animals.

And please don’t start, stop, increase, decrease, or combine medications without checking with your veterinarian first.

We promise we’re not trying to make things difficult. 😅 There’s a reason we ask questions, check weights, review medical history, and sometimes recommend an exam or bloodwork before prescribing something.

When in doubt, ask us first. A quick question is a whole lot easier than treating a preventable medication reaction. 🐾❤️

🐾 EARLY CLOSURE TODAY — 3:00 PM 🐾

We will be closing at 3:00 PM today due to illness making its way through our clinic.

Our team has been pushing through and doing everything they can to be here for our patients, but with several staff members under the weather and everyone feeling the effects, we need to give our team a little time to rest, recover, and recharge. ❤️

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Taking care of our team means making sure we can continue giving your pets the care they deserve.

Thank you for being so understanding and for always supporting our little clinic family. 🐾❤️

🐾 It’s National Walk Your Dog Week! 🍂🐕

But we have one very important question…

Who’s actually walking who? 😂

A. I walk my dog like a responsible adult. 😇
B. My dog walks ME.
C. We stop to sniff approximately every 4 feet.
D. We spend 10 minutes getting ready, walk to the end of the driveway, and somebody decides we’re done. 🤦‍♀️
E. “Walk” means opening the back door and saying, “Go potty!” 😂

No judgment here. We know how this goes.

👇 Tell us which one you are — bonus points for a picture of your walking buddy!

And enjoy that Michigan fall weather while we have it… because we all know what’s coming. 🍂➡️❄️😂

🐾 NORMAL… OR CALL THE VET?

Your pet skips one meal but is otherwise acting completely normal. 🤔

Are you:

A. Watching them closely for now 👀
B. Calling us immediately 📞
C. Offering approximately 17 different foods because clearly they’re starving 😂
D. Already Googling and convinced it’s something terrible

Drop your answer below. 👇

And remember — if something just doesn’t seem right, you don’t have to wait days to have your pet seen. We offer same-day care.

October is officially underway at Veterinary Medical Hospital! 🍂🩷

This month, we’re putting a little extra focus on something that can tell us SO much about your pet’s health — bloodwork. 🩸🐾

Pets are really good at hiding when something isn’t quite right, and bloodwork can sometimes catch changes before there are obvious symptoms.

🎃 PLUS — every visit that includes bloodwork this month gets an entry into our Halloween Basket drawing!

Need your pet checked out? We’re here for same-day care — no appointment needed.

Here’s to healthy pets, spooky season, and maybe going home with a Halloween basket. 👻🐾

🎀 NEW BABY.

That’s all you’re getting right now. 😂

Willow isn’t talking.

Sophie has been instructed to keep her mouth zipped.

The boys cannot be trusted with confidential information.

And we’re certainly not telling you yet. 😏

You’ll just have to hang around this month and find out.

October has a little surprise coming. 🩷🐾
