I am so sorry to announce that I think our sweet chicken, Boots, has passed. He went missing over 48 hours ago and was showing signs of heat stress prior to that. I tried my best to keep him cool, shaded, have access to fresh water, but sometimes there's only so much we can do to try and protect our animals. He led a good life with his family before GRIT and at our own little farm. Miss you, buddy ❤️‍🩹

Scotch jumped with his first lesson kid here at GRIT today and Stormy and her rider worked on their pace and distances. We got 5 rides done before it got too hot! 🌞 Thanks everyone for your continued patience regarding the schedule!

🏫 Our first day of our 4th year at Boshears is on Monday! We can't wait to see our riders then!
