Miss Pan went on a journey some time ago! She ventured all the way to SC, where she met a very handsome boy and the romance was one for the books. A certain book, if you will.
Today, we were very thrilled to find out that we will be embarking on an epic adventure with a small company of Hobbits early July! 💕
Thank you Kayla-Anne for treating her like your own while she visited. Maria, thank you for letting your boy be a papa again!
About the Litter:
QUEST x PANAME
🧙♂️The Hobbit Litter⛰️
Summer 2026
Pan is our sweet summer child. Always offering her signature smile, a gift she proudly inherited from her sire, Popeye. She made her journey to the U.S. later in life and, true to her sensitive heart, took a little time to find her footing. But once she settled, she truly blossomed. She arrived tiny, and while she’s grown into herself (quite literally!), she remains our charming little pipsqueak. A beauceron with a softer agenda, Pan would much rather cuddle on the couch or parade proudly around the yard with a beloved stick than head out for a hard run or bite a sleeve. Still, if you’re one of her people, she’ll happily give anything a try, especially if there’s a good snack involved.
Pan pairs her decidedly feminine expression with delicate structure with beautiful components. She moves effortlessly, often choosing to simply float across the yard, busy and content in her own world. There’s an effortless grace about her that turns everyday moments into something special. We’re so excited to watch her blossom into motherhood and can’t wait to see the joyful little nuggets she’ll (hopefully) gift us. If they inherit even a fraction of her sweetness and that signature smile, we’ll be over the moon.
Quest is the kind of dog that turns heads, not just for his rugged good looks and powerful presence, but for the calm, unshakeable stability he carries into every situation. With a temperament as solid as stone, Quest is endlessly patient with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and a natural with people of every stripe. He adapts effortlessly to whatever is asked of him, whether it’s working, traveling, or simply holding space with quiet confidence. As a working service dog, Quest exemplifies reliability and composure. He has strong natural handler engagement, high food drive, and a steady, manageable toy drive. His protective instincts are appropriately tuned, present when needed, but always easy to redirect or settle. Though he’s been given time to mature at his own pace, Quest will be pursuing additional titles in the coming year to showcase the depth of his ability.
After seeing what Quest has produced with his first litter, I found myself truly drawn to the idea of him for Pan. I’m excited about the possibility of blending his rugged masculinity with her delicate femininity to create puppies of chiseled substance on balanced, sturdy frames. I anticipate beautiful coats, strong toplines, and efficient, ground-covering movement. I look forward to puppies with healthy drive paired with wonderfully accessible off-switches. Confident, versatile companions capable of excelling in whatever sport or adventure their future owners choose to pursue.
While this is predominantly an outcross, there is a particularly exciting linebreeding element through Zarko de l'Amouraudiere and Diamond von Danubia via the littermate sisters Elite de l'Ame du Loup and Etoile de l'Ame du Loup. The pedigree is further strengthened by influential dogs such as Little Satan des Monts du Lac, Turbo de la Negresse, Jean Norma Baker des Feux de l’Ange, and Goldorak de la Noe d’Orient who all will contribute depth, character, and quality to the background of this thoughtfully planned litter.
