Update: ADOPTED!!

I couldn't let "National Rescue Dog Day" go by without a trip to the City of Denton Animal Shelter.

Just look at the beautiful Miss Callie!

Callie is listed as a 2-5 year old, Catahoula Leopard Dog & German Shepherd Dog Mix.

She was a little timid at first, but she warmed up quickly and by the end of her photo session she was rolled over enjoying some belly rubs.

Callie is fully vetted and ready for immediate adoption.

Looking for a companion that loves walks, car rides, children and life itself.....well look no further...come meet Kingston, our male Catahoula Leopard Dog..oh and let's not forget, quite handsome.

He is approximately 50 pounds and 2 1/2 years old. He is a very happy, energetic, and outgoing boy. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered and current on vaccinations. Kingston could use an obedience class to brush up on his obedience skills and help bond with his new family. He would do great in a home with another dog to help him, but he is also a good single household dog as he loves one on one attention. Kingston adores people and kids, he is a great boy. Kingston is deaf, however, that does not slow him down.
