AZ Rodent AZ Rodent is the biggest feeder rodent distributor in Northern Arizona. Rats, Mice and ASF. Prices were high and quality was low.

AZ Rodent started due to a lack of quality feeder rodents in Flagstaff AZ. We were feeding our ball pythons Rodent Pro products and what we could get from the big box stores in town. We feed our rodents a diet of Kalmbach 23% protein rodent food. We supplement with rolled oats, black sunflower seeds, fresh veggies and treats of dried mealworms, peanuts and fresh fruit. We strive to serve Northern Arizona areas. Currently supplying Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Ash Fork, Williams, Belmont and anywhere in between. If you are outside of our service area make contact and we will see if we can work something out.

Which are better food for lizards Dubia Roaches or Crickets?

Dubia Roaches Are High in Protein. So, ounce for ounce, Dubia roaches give a much better "bang-for-the-buck." Further, roaches are a meatier variety of insect than crickets are. So, one roach can do the job of three to four crickets. Aside from protein, Dubia roaches provide more calcium, fat, and ash than crickets do.

Are African soft fur rats good for ball pythons?

African Natal Rats (a.k.a Soft Fur Rats or ASF's for short) are a medium sized African rodent of particular interest to reptile hobbyists. They are a great source of food for medium sized snakes and a natural prey for Ball pythons and other African animals. Natal rats are often referred to as a “miracle food”.

We serve Northern Arizona areas of Flagstaff, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Ash Fork, Williams, Belmont and anywhere in between.
