We are looking to expand our Gypsy Poodle team and have a rare opening for a Professional Pet Groomer for Our shop in Fitzpatrick, AL. This position can become a full time position including some days in our mobile unit in Montgmery, AL. The Professional Pet Groomer will be passionate about grooming and building relationships with the client and their fur babies. The Professional Pet Groomer must be able to thrive in a one-on-one setting with the pet, and be self-motivated in order to be successful.

What You'll Need:
Experience as a groomer REQUIRED (minimum of 1-2 years)
Stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
Sufficient physical strength, mobility, and the dexterity to work with all pets
Confidence to handle, bathe, and groom pets who may be scared or aggressive
Ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
Excellent communication skills

Who You Are:
Must have an unconditional LOVE for all pets/animals
Knowledge of all breed types and cuts
Able to provide excellent customer service to a diverse range of clients
Ability to work with all breeds, sizes, and behaviors
Ability to drive van (preferred)
Clean driving record (mandatory)

Salary potential for the Professional Pet Groomer is $30,000-$50,000 depending on skills and experience. We are commission based pay. IAlso will be W2 employee.

All offers of employment are contingent on a motor vehicle report, background check and drug test.
