We offer quality boarding, training, sales, and lessons for riders of all levels. Our training program is aimed at providing every rider with an individualized program to help them meet their goals. Whether it’s a first lesson, or an experienced rider preparing for the show ring, we provide a positive learning atmosphere to facilitate the best results for horse and rider

The whole Finders Keepers crew has had a great start to circuit with the following highlights:

☀️Heather May and Verkade multiple class wins in the 2ft including champion🥇 in the long stirrup and 2nd in the classic!

🕶️Ronnie Ritter and his new pony Rosmel’s Screen Shot earned top 10 placings in the ground rails. Thank you Matt Piccolo for this perfect match!

🌴Lily Ritter and Northwind Sentimental moved into the low children’s pony division claiming reserve champion🥈This pair also had multiple class wins 🥇in the 2ft and won the long stirrup classic!

☀️Arianna Ritter and Ietoma moved into the 12-14 equitation with great results! Arianna won the style award, received 4th in the in pro derby, and had multiple class wins in the 2’6 divisions!

🌴Sara Potterfield and her own ESH Finbuktu and Blackjack Du Talus have had a super time in the .80m and 2’6 divisions! Claiming 3rd in the jumper classic and a winning trip 🥇in the equitation!

☀️Eliza Potterfield-Zara and her horses have been fantastic in all 3 rings. Zamora Crown has been learning the hunters getting better and better with each trip in the greens and adults. Elix Du Bihamel has had great ribbons in the low Jr/Am jumpers producing double clear rounds! Zilvano has made his career debut in the adult equitation with top three results including a win 🥇 in the flat. Finally Ces’t Lumpi has continued to be competitive in the medium Jr/Am jumpers with multiple top 10 finishes!

🕶️Jay Potterfield-Zara started circuit off right with Magic School Bus claiming 2nd in the national derby at HITS and 8th in the national derby at WEC! This pair also earned great ribbons in the adult Eq. Galaad Tournerie and All Dressed Up are gearing back up this circuit having great rounds in the 1.00m jr/am jumpers and the 3’3 AO hunters. Finally Jay’s new mount Baraka No More Z has made his mark in America winning 🥇 the 3’3 AOs with an 86 and is well on his way to be a competitive derby mount!

Our final highlights from Midwest Indoor I:

Sara Potterfield and Backjack Du Talus moved up to the 2’6 division with poise! This pair earned great ribbons including 2nd place in both Eq over fences trips!

Sara continued her confidence to the jumper ring only producing clear fast rounds with ESH Finbuktu in the .80m jumper division!

Jay Potterfield-Zara had a great show on both Magic School Bus and Galaad Tournerie! Jay had multiple top 3 placings in the equitation and a top 10 finish in the non pro derby with Magic School Bus! Jay then went on to only produced clear jumper rounds with Galaad Tournerie in the 1.00m jumper division.

Congratulations on a great horse show! We are so excited to spend winter circuit with such a talented group of horses! On to warmer weather 🔜 Ocala, FL 🌴☀️

Eliza Potterfield-Zara had a spectacular time at Midwest Indoors I at WEC Ohio. She rode C’est Lumpi to a 4th place finish in her first regional Grand Prix!! This pair was spectacular and made all of us at Finders Keepers Farm so proud!

Eliza also had new partnerships this horse show with young hunter Zamora Crown, and jumper Elix Du Bihamel! Both horses earned top ribbons in their divisions, and we can’t wait to see all the success Eliza will accomplish on these two talented horses!

The Ritter family had a very successful last show before winter circuit at Midwest Indoors I at WEC Ohio

Heather May and Verkade were Champion 🥇of the limit hunters and 6th in the combined classic!

Lily Ritter and Northwind Sentimental were Champion 🥇of the short stirrup hunters and won the combined classic!

Arianna Ritter and Ietoma were Reserve Champion 🥈 of the low children’s hunters and finished 🥉in the 2’6 non pro derby!

Finders Keepers Farm Is Growing—Join Our Team!

Finders Keepers Farm is excited to announce that we are expanding our operations for the upcoming winter circuit and are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team.

Positions Available:
• Working Student / Groom
• Stall Cleaner

As a boutique program, we proudly develop and campaign hunter, equitation, and jumper horses ranging from ground-pole levels through the regional Grand Prix. We are looking for responsible, hardworking, and well-rounded individuals who value a positive, family-oriented atmosphere.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Riding opportunities may be available for the right candidate. Our home base is in Ocala, with a show schedule that focuses primarily on WEC, along with select weeks at HITS and WEF. Please note: housing is not currently available, though this may change in the future.

If you are eager to grow your skills, immerse yourself in a top-tier training environment, and contribute to a supportive team, we would love to hear from you!

All the pats for such good horses, giving Sara confidence moving up in both the hunter and jumper rings! ESH Finbuktu had clear fast rounds in the .80m jumper division, finishing the week with 3rd 🥉 in the classic! Blackjack Du Talus had top ten placings in the non pro hunter division and jumped in top form for this pairs first 2’6 derby! We are so proud of all your progress and are@looking forward to getting back to WEC this fall!

Shoutout post to our working student this summer Reid! We could not have asked for a more detailed oriented, and hard working individual to spend summer circuit with us! Not only was Reid a huge help back in the barn, he was competitive in the saddle at multiple venues on multiple horses. Some accomplishments include: 🥇 winning the novice jumper classic at WEC, 🥈 second in the .95m jr/am classic at GLEF, and piloting a young horse to a 7th place non pro derby finish at Brave Horse! We are so proud of all your progress, and couldn’t thank you more for your dedication this summer 😁 wishing Reid a great school year and hopes for him to join us again in the future!

The Schalick family had a great time at WEC summer III 😎

Erin took on both the jumper and hunter ring this horse show with great results! She piloted Everytime Anywhere B to a 6th place finish in the futures prix! Erin also showed Heather May’s Verkade in the National hunter derby placing 11th.

The youngest member of the family Leah rode Heather May’s Northwind Sentimental to Champion 🥇 in the crossrail division. With nearly clean sweep of the division we are so proud of Leah’s accomplishments catch riding the best pony!

•C’est Lumpi took home a double clear Future Prix round to finish 🥉 as well as a quick Welcome Stake trip to finish 6th!
•Ietoma was the perfect catch ride for Eliza to take home the 7th place finish in the NonPro National Derby as well as great ribbons in the Adult Equitation!
