UPDATE: The fire is out, but we do not have an estimated time of the power to return. We will not be seeing our afternoon appointments. Our phones are not working and all of our staff and patients are safe.

ALERT: Emergency personnel have blocked off Barrett Road for a field fire nearby. We are uncertain at this time when the road will reopen as we have been informed the fire must continue until the power is under control. We will reach out ASAP to clients affected by this inconvenience today. Thank you for your understanding we will update as soon as we can!

Due to the presence of New World Screwworm, the USDA has halted export of pet dogs (and other animals) to Mexico. This means that, effective immediately, we won't be able to write health certificates for dogs traveling to Mexico, by land, sea or air.

It is with a heavy heart to share that we had to say goodbye to our beloved clinic cat, Shadow, a couple of weeks ago. If you have seen Shadow around the hospital, you know she was always up to no good, patrolling the hallways and probably teasing your dogs in the lobby as she strolled for treats on the floor and searched for a lap to snuggle in. Shadow was lucky enough to find one of our team members 3.5 years ago when her eye was ulcerated from an injury as a stray neighborhood cat. She got comfortable with us and had been here since. After her eye was removed, she was diagnosed with hyperthyroid (common in older felines) and a large mass in her abdomen, discovered when staff were completing their ultrasound training. A purrfect fit for a well-loved clinic cat. 🐾💜

We have a 6 World Major Marathon runner in our midst! Our very own Medical Director, Dr Jennifer Johnson, has completed all 6 world marathons, finishing with Boston this week on Monday April, 20!
