Very often I am asked "Why does it cost more to spay a pregnant cat?" "It is still a spay".... Well.... below is a photo of an incision from a pregnant feral cat spay ~ 7cm!!!!! For perspective... as a comparison the green tattoo line is the size of my routine spay incision ~1cm. More time. More suture. More anesthesia. All equals => More money.

We don't deny them care..... This beautiful feral cat came through our FERAL25 Program and was found to have mastitis to progressed to a ruptured abscessed mammary gland leaving a large and deep infected wound. In addition to the standard feral services, Dr. Monroe repaired the abscess and administered SQ fluids and a long acting antibiotic injection.

The Spay Neuter Northwest FERAL25 Program provides an amazing service for Whatcom County feral cats and their caretakers. Can you help us continue to help them? The French Fry Litter ~ Crinkle, Curly, Tot, Hashbrown, and Waffle.
This gorgeous litter was born under a house to a feral mother. They came to us a bit shy but have quickly come out of their "shells" with a lot of love and amazing care. They are something special!!!

Adoption includes spay/neuter, negative FeLV/FIV test, current FVCRP vaccination, current flea treatment, current deworming, and microchip.

WE DO NOT DENY THEM CARE ~

Every feral cat that comes through our FERAL25 Program is NEVER denied additional care. Ear mites, tapeworms, lacerations, abscesses... we provide the necessary care. From every swab to clean the ear mites from the ears, the syringe and needle for every injection, the SQ fluids administered to address dehydration, or the long acting antibiotic given for infection, we gladly provide it at our own expense. But... there are times when we need help.

Can you please help us make sure we can continue this amazing service? $75 sponsors the services for one feral cat but any amount helps... and we are extremely grateful for financial donations of any amount. It takes a village... a community... to do better for these amazing forgotten felines. Let's be an incredible "role model" for others. Can you help us continue to help them?
