Aurora's Dog Park

Aurora's Dog Park The Nassau Humane Society Dog Park is membership-based with separate areas for large and small dogs. Treats/food and toys from home are prohibited.

Enjoy 1.3 acres, a bone shaped dog pool, hot and cold water bathing stations, and so much more! Membership packages vary from daily, monthly, bi-annual, and annual. All dogs are required to be a minimum 6 months of age, spayed/neutered, current on rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccines (veterinarian documentation required), and dog and people friendly. Children under 13 years are not allowed inside the park.

The Dog Park office will open as normal around noon today 10/10/24.

The Dog Park office will close at 1:00 pm on Wednesday 10/9/24 and remain closed on Thursday 10/10/24. Weather permitting the DP office will open regular hours on Friday 10/11/24. Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe!

Our Story

The Nassau Humane Society Dog Park is membership based with separate areas for Large & Small Dogs. Enjoy 1.3 acres, a bone shaped dog pool, 3 bathing stations with member donated shampoos and towels to rent, and donated toys galore.

This park was built specifically with our adjacent shelter population in mind. All proceeds taken in at the dog park, from membership fees to the bottle of water you purchased in our lobby, go to support and tend to every animal that is under our care at the Nassau Humane Society. We appreciate you!!
