A little something from the camera roll this time last year. White iris, dahlias, dusty hydrangea and the darkest ornamental kale. And just a pop of pale blue tweedia.

An intimate wedding doesn’t mean we have to play it safe with the flowers.

Dahlia lovers, this is your season.

We’ve hit that point in the calendar when the good ones are available. To quote the estimable George Strait, “I ain’t here for a long time, I’m here for a good time.” 😉

I’ve been fortunate to spend much of September traveling, so this month has absolutely flown by. Ready for the temperatures to cool and the palettes to warm. 🤎

I am all here for incorporating your bestest boy into your big day. Loved creating a floral collar for Duke and, naturally, flowering his bar. 😉

Most of my favorite flowers don’t organically grow in Florida, so I’m no stranger to forcing these blooms to life.

I recently spent an incredible week at Goodnestone Park in England studying the art of paper flowers with Tiffanie Turner, focused on some longtime favorites: jonquils, daffodils and parrot tulips. Lots of paper, paint, glue and very close study of what makes a flower feel like *that* flower.

Still reeling a bit from the experience and grateful to Tiffanie for sharing her process so generously, and to an amazing group of creatives for making the week what it was. A few snippets from a pretty indescribable week. ❤️

Few things better than seeing "dealer's choice on design" in a new inquiry. If you love seasonal flowers, layered designs and just a bit over-the-top - you're in the right place. 💜

Grace didn’t want a traditional bouquet. Every detail of her wedding day was purposefully and thoughtfully chosen. The flowers were no exception.

A Cult Gaia pearl bag became the foundation of her bridal bouquet, layered with cascading calla lilies, tulips, delphinium, amaranthus and a few stems of Sarracenia for even more of the unexpected.

Coordinating pearl purses for her attendants carried the idea through with white calla lilies, tulips and trailing passion vine.

A little unexpected, but completely her. 💚
