🐾🎉Veterinary Technician Week: Two Truths & a Lie!🎉🐾

We're wrapping up Veterinary Technician Week with a little game of Two Truths and a Lie! 🤔🐶🐱

You get to know our vet techs for the amazing work they do caring for your furry family members, but how well do you really know them? 👀

Each of our techs shared three fun facts about themselves - two are true and one is a lie! Can you figure out which one doesn't belong? 🔎🐾

👇Drop your guesses in the comments! Let's see who knows our team best!

🐾😂Veterinary Technician Week: Would You Rather Thursday!😂🐾

Let's be honest...working in veterinary medicine isn't always cute puppies and cuddly kittens! 🐶🐱 Sometimes, things get a little spicy! 🌶

For today's Would You Rather Thursday, we put our vet techs to the test with a tough question: 🐈 Would you rather wrangle a spicy cat or wrestle a feisty dog 🐕?

Let's just say our techs know that some patients have a little extra ✨personality✨! 😂 There's never a dull moment in the clinic!

Our veterinary technicians handle it all with patience, skill, and a whole lot of love (and maybe a few battle scars😉).

👇Now it's YOUR turn! Which would you rather take on: the spicy cat or the fiesty dog? Tell us in the comments!🌶🐾

💙🐾Veterinary Technician Week: Wellness Wednesday🐾💙

Our veterinary technicians spend their days taking care of our furry patients, but what do they enjoy doing when they're off the clock?🐱🐶

Whether they're spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with their own pets, or enjoying a favorite hobby, our team has plenty of ways to relax, recharge, and practice a little self-care!💕

Taking care of animals is rewarding, but it's important to take care of ourselves, too! Today, we're celebrating the amazing people behind the scrubs and all the things that make them who they are outside the clinic.❤

👇What's your favorite way to unwind after a busy day? Let us know in the comments!

🐾Veterinary Technician Week: Snack Time!🍫🍿

It's Tuesday, and we're talking SNACKS! 😋

Between caring for patients, helping pet parents, and keeping the clinic running, our veterinary technicians don't always have time for a full meal. Sometimes a quick snack is just what's needed to keep going! 💪🐶🐱

So, we asked our team: Sweet or Salty? And what's your go-to snack? 🍬🥨

From candy lovers to salty snack fans, everyone has their favorite way to recharge during a busy day!

👇Are you team SWEET🍭 or team SALTY🍿? Tell us your favorite snack in the comments!

🐾Happy Veterinary Technician Week🐾

Happy Monday! 💙 To kick off Veterinary Technician Week, we asked our amazing veterinary technicians one simple question: "Why did you choose to become a vet tech?" 🐱🐶

From a lifelong love of animals to a passion for helping pets live healthier, happier lives, every vet tech has a story that led them to this important role!

This week, we're celebrating the compassion, dedication, hard work, and love our veterinary technicians bring to the clinic every single day. They're there for the happy moments, the tough moments and everything in between. ♥🐾

☕📚 Happy Boss's Day to an AMAZING boss! 🐾♥

How lucky are we to have a boss who is not only an incredible veterinarian, but also an amazing leader, teacher, and all-around human being!

Dr. Fransen has built something truly special at our clinic - an incredible team and a workplace where we don't just feel like co-workers, but like family. She leads with compassion, encourages us to grow, and shares her love of veterinary medicine with everyone around her. It's easy to see how much she loves what she does, and that passion inspires all of us every day!

She wears so many hats, gives so much of herself to others, and makes a difference in more ways than she possibly realizes. We are so grateful for her leadership, her heart, her humor, and what she has created for us here at Companion Animal Hospital!

Happy Boss's Day! Thank you for being such an incredible boss, mentor and friend. We're so lucky to be part of your team! 🐶🐱♥

🐾 DID YOU KNOW?! 🚨🐱🐶

Companion Animal Hospital offers Urgent Care appointments - and we're proud to be one of the only clinics in the area doing it!

✨For our established clients: We reserve Urgent Care spots every day so your pet has a better chance of being seen when something unexpected comes up.

✨Not one of our clients? If your regular veterinarian can't see your pet, we may be able to help! We welcome non-client pets for urgent concerns and do our best to work you into our schedule.

So, if your gut is telling you, "Hmm...this shouldn't wait," give us a call! 📞🐾

09/29/2026

It’s raining cats and dogs… and perhaps that is why our phones and internet are down? We apologize for the inconvenience, but feel free to email or text us and we will get back to you when we see your message.

We are open as usual. You may also try our backup cell phone # at (218) 671-3672. Because we are not equipped to handle a large volume of calls this way, please leave a message if prompted. If you have an emergency, please come straight to the clinic.

Thank you for your patience.

📣 Holiday Closure 📣

Our office will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

If you have a pet emergency during this time, please call our clinic - emergency services will be available.

Wishing you and your pets a safe and happy Labor Day! 🐾

📣Important Change Regarding Pet Records

Moving forward, we will need owner permission before sending your pet's medical or vaccine records to any outside facility, including boarding facilities, groomers, rescues, or other veterinary clinics.

You can help make the process easy by:
🐾Letting us know at your pet's wellness appointment where records can be sent.
🐾Using your PetDesk app to access and share your pet's vaccine records directly.

Planning ahead helps ensure your pet's records are available when needed.
Thank you for your understanding and trusting us with your pets' care! ♥
