One of the mares I did my certification work on had a tripping problem. She stumbled under saddle. While working on her I noticed eyes watering, but there were no flies, so it must have been allergies or something ear to jaw to eye.

I did Basic Bowen (lower back, upper back, mid-back, neck), stifles, kidneys, sacrum, coccyx, TMJ

I heard today, over a month later, that “I have no idea what you did but she’s no longer tripping and the eyes are no longer watering.”

Big AL has EPM and it was wonderful to see him gain some balance. Alongside Big Al I had the opportunity to work on unique horses, those who loved therapy and those who really needed it and made it extra challenging for me. Bowen Therapy is famous in Australia, it’s been around since the 1950s, and this alternative to Western medicine is commonly accepted there. Bowen technique triggers reactions in the brain to inspire healing to the region, and similar to acupuncture, it heals deeper than just the spot, healing organs and mental health as well. It definitely can’t hurt, and it just might help more than you think. I’m now accepting clients, please reach out!
