We like to dress up our dogs in scarves for the holidays and were so thrilled to find this pattern for a scarf that slips through t

he pets collar and not their neck. Our dog friends started asking to buy them and that's how Barb's Pet Project started this year.We are making a donation for every pet scarf we sell to local pet charities.

Last Saturday, my sis & I attended a Pack Walk in memory of Benz Lopez. Sophie & Penny were able to keep up with some of Benz’s German Shepherd friends & their parents, all here to support Omar as we all grieve the passing of Benz.

Mom , Sher, Kristi & I met this sweet boy named Benz & his parents back in 2018, when he was a youngster. Over the years at various dog events, they always stopped by our booth to visit and shop for more pet scarves. He had a giant collection of our scarves and we shopped for fabric just with Benz in mind. He was very photographic & was a great brand ambassador for us in all of his Dad’s posts.

Unfortunately, Benz was diagnosed with canine cancer. He and his Dad tried to fight this horrible disease, but it returned.

The last event Benz attended was Auburn Petpalooza. Our family non profit donates the proceeds from our scarf sales to various pet charities. Two of those charities raise money to cure canine cancers. One has an event, Paws 4A Cause in Olympia. Omar & Benz live there & they told us about the event & we’ve attended every year since.

In memory & in honor of Benz Lopez, we will be donating our proceeds from this year’s Auburn Petpalooza to Paws 4A Cause & Canine Cancer Alliance. We’re pray that a time will come that canine cancer is a thing of the past.

Rest in Peace Benz! Till we meet again!! Our sweet girls Maya, Sophie, Belle, Figaro and Nala will be over the rainbow bridge to welcome you. We love you all. ❤️🌈🙏🏻😇

Happy 13th Birthday to our family pack leader, Bailey Rae!! Bailey is sporting one of our new prints from Barb’s Pet Project - “Happy Bark Day”, in pink. It’s also available in blue for your male dogs.

Bailey and Sophie are both staying at the Lind Pet Boarding while their parents are both cruising. Today the girls enjoyed beef ribs as a treat.

We’re out here today representing Barb’s Pet Project, surrounded by hand-sewn pet scarves, amazing community energy, and a whole lot of holiday cheer! 🎄🐶💕

Every scarf on this table is made with love, and every single purchase helps pets in Washington. Today has been full of smiling shoppers, excited pup parents, and even a few furry visitors who stopped by to show off their new scarves.

✨ Event Specials:
• $30 = 3 scarves + 1 FREE + $3 donated
• $60 = 6 scarves + 2 FREE + $6 donated
• $90 = 9 scarves + 3 FREE + $9 donated

The patterns this year are unreal. Christmas prints, Seahawks designs, winter styles, and so much more. All sizes from XS to large, plus custom XL on request.
